True Tone Problem Since Update to 10.14.6

Does anyone know if is there a way to return the version before 10.14.6?

I could wait on that version until this issue is fixed.

I only backup my project files.

Could I reinstall specific version of MacOS?

I installed the Catalina GM yesterday, and I hate to report, that I'm still having this issue 😡

Just installed Catalina and there is no change, the True Tone still flickers...

I have been having this issue as well. Very disappointed to hear that Catalina isn't fixing it. Hope Apple pays attention to this thread and gets technicians working on a solution. VERY UNHAPPY.

issue still not fixed. With apple, the pitch is "no news is bad news"

Guys, I have a solution for this issue.

The only one who helped correctly was an Egyptian guy from the technical support team in Dubai called Farahat. He advised to reinstall Mojave system after rebooting to recovery. I did that and I had a chance ti test it for 3 hours and the true tone was fine.

I really want to thank that guy.

That seems like a pretty radical solution, especially when it seems like Apple itself introduced the problem after the latest update. Will keep it as an option but I’m waiting to hear from Apple. Thanks!

Apple is actively looking into this issue. After posting here I was contacted by their support team. They asked me to describe the issue and details and to collect logs.
