HomeKit automations: sunrise/sunset timezone follows my iPhone, not the local timezone of my HomeKit hubs

I noticed a few months ago that when I travel overseas, my HomeKit automations based on sunrise/sunset stop working correctly: they seem to trigger at sunrise/sunset in the local timezone of the place I’m at, not my home. Anyone else seen this? Is this a misconfiguration on my part or some bug?

I use an Apple TV 4 gen, an Apple TV 4K and a HomePod as my HomeKit hubs if that matters.

Hey, golish.

I see that, while you're traveling overseas, your HomePod responds to the sunrise and sunset of where you're located instead of the timezone it's in. I recommend contacting Apple Support.

Apple - Support - Product Selection — After selecting this link, choose Music > HomePod > Setup & Configuration > Help with Location Services. Then select how you'd like to start the conversation.

Take care.
