mojave 10.14.6: Issues with Logictech cam, bluetooth pairing, etc...

After I upgraded to 10.14.6, I observed the following issues:

  • My Logitech Webcam C920 works, but the Logitech Camera Settings app cannot control it anymore
  • My Apple Wireless Bluetooth paired at first. But after my last restart, it does not pair anymore. The external trackpad does pair.
  • Watching embedded video in Safari, I noticed the MacBook Pro's fan running fast. Safari's CPU jumped up to 100%
  • On the sign-in screen, two parallel bars appear. One two the left of the screen and the other to the right.

My MacBook:

  • 15-inch Late 2013
  • 2.6 GHz i7
  • 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
  • Graphics:
    • NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2GB
    • Intel Iris Po 1536MB
  • External 27" Thunderbolt display

UPDATE 2: Logitech has an updated version of their camera settings app on their own support site:

It works!

Odd that the App Store has a back-level version (v1.2). 🤷🏻‍♂️
