yosemite safari hijacked by Mac Cleaner Pro

Hi all! My buddy foolishly and accidentally clicked on and installed Mac cleaner pro. I was able to remove most of it using Malwarebytes. However, his homepage in Safari will not let me update it using preferences. It instantly reverts back to the hijack,and will not let me change that.


please tell me how to fix this and be rid of the hijack? Thanks!!!

Check in Safari > Preferences > Extensions. If there is an Extension you don't recognize delete it.
