Dolby Vision content displaying distorted since tvOS 12.4 update.

I’m on the latest firmware and use a belkin cable. All input settings are the same. I have tried different inputs and different cables.

Hey bro I have same tv as you and having same issue 👎👎 have you found out what is causing this problem as all my moves are shown in Dolby vision which are tv is supported but when watching dark films is just distorted, worked fine previously, thanks

I have the same problem. There's no problem with other Dolby Vision content on Netflix, Vudu or MoviesAnywhere app. Also use 4K Blu-ray using an Oppo 203 and no problems with Dolby Vision content. Only from the Movies or TV/TV+ App on the Apple TV, so it can't be the cable or the TV.

Just joining in as another person with the same issue in iTunes movies and Apple TV+ content.

For now the only way I’ve managed to fix it is disable Dolby Vision on the hdmi port that connects to my Apple TV, but this prevents every Apple TV app from

displaying Dolby Vision content. I’m hoping if enough people shout about it then Apple will fix it (and surely it’s an easy fix because it was fine before 12.4??). It’s a huge shame because Dolby Vision is one of the reasons I upgraded my TV and Apple TV recently.

I can’t replicate this from that episode(S01E07) and time stamp on my 2018 Vizio P Series. So far I have only seen the issue mentioned in this thread in the Apple apps.
