Can’t update a good number of my apps

When I try to update I get the following message:

This discounted price is only available to customers who own a previous version of this item. To purchase this item at full price, click Buy.

If I click Buy, it just keeps popping up with the same message until I click Cancel. None of the apps were purchased apps they were all free. I don’t know how to get it updated and some of the apps will not work anymore without an update. What can I do to fix it?

iPad Pro 10.5-inch, Wi-Fi

There have been a number of posts from people getting the same message, and so far I haven't seen a solution. You've tried logging out and back into the account that those apps were bought on ? If you have you could see if iTunes Support can help : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww (click on your country's flag, the country where you live, and which is therefore the country on the account ; click on Contact Support towards the top right ; click on Get Help under 'Talk To Us’)
