screen time / cellular data changes / wont turn back on

I set up parental control using screen time in ios12. I first checked to not allow cellular data changes. Then i unchecked it. But when I click on cellular data on my childs phone, it still has all the apps grayed out (I cannot select which use data and which dont). Help!

Downtime and other screen time features keep disabling themselves The last two or so versions of iOS have had a myriad of problems retaining my settings on my kids phones. I will set them, go out of screen time, go back in and they are off again. It is very broken. We have tried everything to get it working again. Ideas?

Screen time - apps are remain restricted outside of downtime Screen time is not working properly for me. I have set downtime with app restrictions only to be in place evenings until morning (iOS and macOS). Often, on my iPhone, when I wake up the downtime app restrictions are still there (for all apps, and I haven’t made special restrictions to any but two apps). To “cle ar” this issue manually, I can power cycle my phone, but it’s very annoying to do this every morning. Have tried to toggle downtime on and off, no result. iPhone 12, iOS 14.4.1

Please check your Downtime Restrictions --> Use Screen Time on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
