The Airport Utility just crashes on open after upgrading to IOS 13. Uninstall and reinstall no help. Anyone else been able to get it working? IF so what app version? Thanks

I found a workaround until Apple corrects the bug.
Untinstall the app and reinstall it.
Reopen the app and when the app asks you if you want to save/register the password, answer yes. The app will crash again but next time you open it, it won’t.
The bug seems to be in the password handling by the app.
I have an iPhone XS (my previous phone before getting the 11 Pro) with the iOS13.0 update, no SIM card. No iOS 13.1, no update 13.1.2. It works with that one.
Yea that didn’t work for me. It did at least ask for me to save the password but then it crashed
Thanks Patrick
I second that. Uninstalling and reinstalling fixed it for me as well. Thanks!
Great! Glad you have it sorted out. Yes, very familiar with the device password and the login one. I figured you may have had some extra complications to deal with. Regards....
So... it might have been the update from today after all. Hadn’t realized about the update until you mentioned it and then read about it in sites that cover Apple news. Thankful.
Thanks, did the update.....
I had exactly the same problem with my iPhone 11 Pro on iOS 13, Airport Utility would crash immediately after upon opening it.
I was able to work around that by doing the following:
• Open Airport Utility and look attentively at my collection of Airport Express for the half a second they show. It took a few tries to memorize their locations in the screen.
• Open Airport Express yet again and swiftly tap on the Airport Express of your choice.
• it will work and take you to its settings page. You can work there just as usual.
After doing this it is not crashing anymore upon opening it.
Worked with Apple support airport specialist. We fixed the problem. Here is how. 1 delete current Airport Utility. 2 Go to General, Reset, Reset Network. Do the reset. Reload Apple Utility from Apple or Cloud. Shutdown iPad/iPhone restart same. This fixed password/utility login issue.
I experienced this last night - noticed my AE, which is connected wireless to my Linksys Velop, was flashing yellow. Loaded airport utility on my iPhone Pro, saw a red notification, tried to log in and crash. Tried a couple of times, then on my iPad iOS 13 and the same happened.
Unplugged my AE and it returned to green and notification in Airport Utility had disappeared.
Apple knows about the problem. Now they have to fix it.
There was another thread that seemed to have solved this for me. Enabling WiFi Scanning in the AirPort Utility settings, stopped the app from crashing: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250658812
I couldn't get it to work on my iPhone 11 Pro but it did work on my 12.9" iPad Pro (2015), both were on iOS 13.1
Correction. This is a iphone 11 issue. Ios 13 on my wife’s iphone x w/ ios 13 eorks fine.
im regretting the 11 upgrade. Cant stream to my TV either hmmmmmmm.
Call into Apple Support so they can open an issue to Engineering. I have one that they are updating me on weekly. It is a change for the app itself not iOS.
Hope that helps
