Missing pop3 email sent folder at IOS13

Ok but the original deleting of the saved email drafts happened when the update was installed, so that was the original cause. It was a couple of days before I tried deleting the email off the phone and reinstalling it. So, I’m not all that computer savvy but aren’t the drafts saved in the cloud?

All POP3 does is download emails from the server to the client (iPhone, PC, etc.), and send emails (emails actually sent, not ones saved locally as drafts).

All local folders are just that--local to the client only--and don't exist in the cloud. I don't believe there's any way to recover your lost drafts.

IMAP does sync folders with the server, so they exist on the server, and any clients.

Now not only can I not save drafts, as a lot of people on here have reported. I’ve lost the ones I did save even though they have been on my phone for months and years at a time. I had this problem too of a missing sent mail folder. I managed to fix it by somehow moving messages around my archive.

I just restored my iPhone to iOS 13.2.2 and then restored from iTunes backup of 13.2.2 made the same day. The missing sent mail folder came back to haunt me.

i just fixed it again by going to mail accounts and advanced. There I saw that my deleted messages go to trash so I temporarily changed to archive. Voila! Fixed. I changed the setting back and all seems good now.

I found a fix!!!!

1) select an email

2) move it to trash / delete it

3) trash folder should now be visible

4) go to trash folder

5) select that deleted mail in trash folder

6) move it back to your inbox

7) sent folder should now be back

iOS 13.1.2 have lost my SENT folder. How do I get it back?

None of these work for me. No Sent folder & messages aren’t saving in Draft Folder. Any other suggestions?

You can’t roll it back. Thought of that and Apple said impossible.

I did not lose any email when upgrading from iOS 12.4.1 to iOS 13. All the inbox emails are there as before.

Are they forcing us to use imap?. DONT WANT TO!!!

I believe so. When I used my IMAP setting for my GoDaddy email it works perfectly fine. I believe Apple in itself along with major email servers are no longer using POP3

PLEASE report this to Apple. They don’t read our discussion. The more of us POP fans that report the problem, the more likely they are to fix it. Thanks.

In fact if you do as you suggest, then simply close the mail app and reopen it, drafts folder and contents disappears forever. Try and let me know.

Still works for me after hard reset.
