Just received my iPhone 11 Pro and after a few minutes of light use, the back and sides heat up to where I can barely hold the phone. Any ideas?

Yes I’ve experienced the same. The phone gets really hot in the back and sides. Also - the wireless charging is really slow. An entire night of wireless charging (6+hours) took my battery from 46% to 73%. That is not good at all. Did anyone else experience the same issue ?

Feel free to "keep a close eye on it," but if the phone doesn't shut down, it's normal.
Actually I hope upgrading to 13.1 will help fix this issue.

I am having the same issue too! Just got mine today and I am worried about how hot it is within a couple of mins of use.
There is no need to worry as long as the phone does not automatically shut itself off due to heat.

Same problem here, i have Iphone 11 Pro heated while restoring from Icloud and also got heated when it was charging.
Is anyone’s phone working better since yesterday’s update?
Mine seems to be.
I got mine yesterday, after I set it up I immediately downloaded iOS 13.1.
I have no issues with heat or battery life.
My mail app keeps crashing too!
Yes, my 11 pro max charges painfully slow. Charged only 12% in 30 minutes. And while I’m using the phone while charging it doesn’t charge at all. Been on 57% for like 15 minutes.

My phone gets hot when using Navigation. I use apple car play daily. If I forget to plug in my phone to charge while using navigation, it will get hit in my pocket. This did not happen with my XS.
How the heck do I turn these comments off!
