iPhone 11 Pro getting HOT
Just received my iPhone 11 Pro and after a few minutes of light use, the back and sides heat up to where I can barely hold the phone. Any ideas?

Yes I’ve experienced the same. The phone gets really hot in the back and sides. Also - the wireless charging is really slow. An entire night of wireless charging (6+hours) took my battery from 46% to 73%. That is not good at all. Did anyone else experience the same issue ?
Well to update I just started playing a game and it instantly started to heat up! I think this is going to be a big issue ...
I set up my new iPhone 11 pro and it’s also getting hot, with only Spotify open. Not to
mention the mail app keeps crashing the phone
It is an issue when it gets so hot you can’t hold it to your ear.
Once again, here is Apple's official word on the subject, not mine.
Keeping iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch within acceptable operating temperatures - Apple Support
Given it's under warranty, if you think it's malfunctioning why wouldn't you take it in?

If you're concerned, take it in to be checked:

Otherwise, don't worry about it; heat is a normal byproduct when charging batteries.

This is unacceptable from Apple I need to get into touch with them
Here's how you do just that:
The phone should shut itself off before it became hot enough to cause an actual burn.
Contact Apple Support directly if you believe it is reaching such a temperature:

I’m having the same problem with my iPhone 11 pro

Phones way too hot after 1 minute of use with most setting turned off! I miss my 3D Touch!!!
If this really bothers you, you have 14 days to return your phone for a refund.
Another thing that’s happening is every time I get in the car it makes a phone call to I don’t know who but I have to press hang up on the car stereo! Annoying!
Ask about the Mail crashes in a new thread.
That behavior is definitely not one seen by others.
