i purchased my iPhone 11 in January 2020. It is July and it’s getting very hot after being in use and isn’t holding a charge. What’s wrong and what do I do?

i Just bought the iPhone 11 pro, paid it in full, and I am extremely unhappy with it.. heats up too fast.. I can barely use it.. it is making me regret leaving my XR... I am super upset

I did the same had mine replaced 10 days ago and by far the second one is smooth and hasn't been running hot.

Well so far so good. Replacement phone is much more normal temperature,. Will update again, in a few weeks.

I beg to differ, If the phone is getting too hot to handle, or causes the screen to have a shadowy area, or is a fire risk, It is a problem.

There are few things you will do that are more processor-intensive than transferring data to a new phone, so don't judge it by that.

My phone gets so warm while playing games or using any sort of apps that the sides become almost a cooking surface can’t say I’m happy with my purchase

Apple doesn’t care that’s the sad part of it you have an $800-$1200 phone and they could care less if you have problems it’s sad I’ve been trying to get mine fixed and it’s bullshit

I just got my new iPhone 11 a week ago and it keeps getting really hot and shutting off telling me the temperature is too hot to use.

Return it to where you got it from and insist on a replacement.
