Iphone 11 pro max battery dying fast

Anyone else having a problem with the battery tanking? I’ve covered all the bases. Brightness down, location services only while using apps, no background app refresh, etc. my battery is consistently going down 50% in 5 hours for the past 24 hours that I’ve tested it. Regular use, no difference between sleep & wake, it’s losing the same amount. Ideas??

There is definitely something wrong. My iPhone 11 Pro Max has been off the charger for 6 hours so far today and it still has 81% battery. At this rate, it will last up to 30 hours. Keep in mind that I am home so it has been on WiFi all day, which is much more efficient than cellular.

  • Go to Settings: Battery
  • View your usage for the last 24 hours
  • See if there are particular hours that stand out
  • Look at the apps and activity % to see which apps are sucking down the battery

Let me know what you find.

I have seen a situation like this before and doing a full reset of the phone fixed it. Not sure if we are there yet with your phone so you should check the list above.

Best,

Frank

My iPhone 11 capacity went down in the first 2 weeks of having it and the dumb thing loses 2% every 3 minutes, I've done everything in my power to try to fix this but nothing has worked and personally I never use it anymore, I went out and bought a pixel and I have 0 issues with battery life on this device. If anyone can give me a new tip or solution I'll give apple 1 last chance but after that I'm done with it

Mine does it too but I have the base 11, and it’s sucks because apples gonna charge you a arm and a leg for a basic function to work like they boast about because somehow it’s “customer fault” so I’m honestly waiting to sell this phone and switch to a brand that actually takes care of the customer instead of burning them and making them pay for it

I will say this -- I googled (ha!) and found an article that advised on what to do, turn off siri, don't refresh background apps, I even factory reset (make sure you back up first!), etc. I did probably five out of the ten recommendations, and my battery draining has stopped. I think there is a glitch in one of the updates and that caused the problems. Here's hoping they will fix it soon!

Just got a new phone and fully charged and turned off apps I don’t used hoping To save the battery and nothing saves the battery , drains faster than my iPhone XR Max . Not sure what is the problem but I will call the tech and have him come to my house and fix it since it’s free for me . Hopefully they come up with a solution soon . Not happy with Apple right now . If the tech comes up with a Solution I will post it .

First for Keeping the Battery Health maintained for Iphone 11 Pro Max charge it with 5w orginal charger which came in the previous iphone generation not from the box one which is 18w as it charges quickly and take away the battery cells more to take heat and give you more charge quickly, Second for battery drain issue try to switch off location, Background refresh off, Siri app off for suggestions also, icloud off also your phone backup then you will be good to go :)

I have problem with my iphone 11 pro. My iphone 11 pro battery dying so fast in one minute. For example, my battery was 87% and one minute after that it become 85%. Sometimes, the battery will be stuck in 87% then so sudden drop into 50% in less than 5 minutes. I did general restart and restart all the setting, also turn off everything including my locations and the brightness. However, this is not solving the problem at all. Can someone please help me..??
