Cannot add Google Account to MacOS Mojave (MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 with Safari 13.0)

Since updating about a day ago, Mail started asking for authentication. When I selected open in Safari, it would just open an empty page.

I tried re-setting by removing the Google account, but I can't re-add because of the same problem above - System Preferences/Internet Accounts/Google and select the normal dialog box: "Google Requires completing authentication in Safari." I click "Open Safari", it opens but doesn't load a URL, and instead just hangs on an empty page.

I just installed the just-released Safari 13.0.1 update, rebooted, and I can add GMail again. Didn't need to reinstall Mojave (OMG)

Hello,

do the same again. When Safari is open, go to Safari > Settings for This Website ... :

If pop-up windows are blocked, temporarily allow pop-up windows and try again.
Try if temporarily unchecking "Enable contents blockers", solves the problem.

Solved it. Re-installed Mojave from App Store. Everything works now.

No, neither of this suggestions worked for me. I also tried adding my GMail address as 'Email' in system preferences, but it fails to authenticate.

Safari 13.0.1 was released today to fix the problem. Apparently it's already in the Mojave you downloaded.
