Failed to restore iPhone XR since iOS 13 released

Cannnot restore DEP managed iPhone XR devices from Apple Configurator 2 (updated to ver 2.10) which the devices have been unassigned from Apple Business Program since iOS 13 released. Once I process restore process, got the error message "(AMRestoreErrorDomain error 10 - Failed to handle message type StatusMsg) [AMRestoreErrorDomain - 0xA (10)".

Is there any solution how to restore unassigned DEP managed iPhone XR devices?

Here is the "unofficial" work around for the issue I got from Apple.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We found the underlying issue while onsite at All Covered today. The Mac needs the

newer frameworks installed.

Apple

Configurator 2 Restore Issues with iPad OS 13.1

MacOS

10.14.6 includes the Mobile Device Framework version 988.266.4. iOS 13.1 and

iPad OS 13.1 requires the Mac have Mobile Device Framework 1190.9.1 to restore

or update the device properly. To update the framework you need to plug in an

iOS 13.1 or iPadOS 13.1 device to the Mac to start the update to the newer version.

  1. Connect a device with iOS 13.1 or iPadOS 13.1 already installed to the Mac

running Apple Configurator 2. Use a direct connection to the Mac, not a

connection through a hub.

2. Click install to update the frameworks for the Mac. This will take between 1-2

minutes. iTunes and Apple Configurator 2 will quit as part of the process.

3. When complete check that the Mobile Device Framework is updated in either

System Information or Apple Configurator 2 (About Apple Configurator).

Same issue : I was trying to upgrade iPhone SE with iOS 12.4.1 using AC2 - error "AMRestoreErrorDomain error 10".

Now I'm trying to restore it via iTunes
