iPhone 11 - Siri not working with bluetooth helmet

Same problem here. It won’t work with multiple earpieces and also with my car over Bluetooth. The odd thing is that if I use the home button to start Siri then it works over Bluetooth just fine, but if I try the “voice command” button of earpieces or car my phone will simply beep and the beep again, like when you wait too much to talk after starting Siri.

it definitely isn’t a firmware software since they all worked fine until the last iOS update!!

Same issue with Cardo freedom4+. Has been working fine now simply ignores the voice request for Siri and yesterday has started to ignore the button to activate it from the helmet bluetooth. Also Siri has been very temperamental with working anyhow - using OS13.3.1, (latest update to the freedom4+ btw). This also via the AirPods (2nd Gen) and these are a replacement too.

I too Have had to reset to factory settings the bluetooth equipment deleted it from the iPhone and added it as new and I despair at Siri these days.

Is this just a glitch or is there more issues with Siri and iPhone 11 with OS13...?

It’s not just iPhone 11. It’s any iPhone that has iOS 13. I have an iPhone 7 that I keep as a backup. This phone worked flawlessly. I wanted to see if it was my phone so I updated it, and it stared doing the Same thing. I bought an iPhone 8 new and it did the same thing too. All 3 phones had the same problem.

Confirming same issue with iPhone 11, 13.1.2, BOTH with Sena headset and 2013 Honda Accord Bluetooth Handsfree Link.

come on Apple. This is a basic feature. FIX THIS!! (Does anyone at Apple read these threads?)

I’ve re paired, deleted, reset to default and updated firmware all to no avail. This issue is there with Apple EarPods too. It still seems to be an Apple issue with Bluetooth devices. I’ll skip to any solutions. Cheers people

If there is a bug in the software. No one will ever tell you. If you call Tech Support, they will have you restore the phone from iTunes, delete that then restore the phone as new, etc. you will be put through a series of hopefuls that will do nothing but will eventually make you give up. The person who posted under you stated that they will skip any other suggestions. That’s what I have done. It seems all we can do it wait for a fix in future iOS updates. Again; if there is a bug, Apple is never going to admit it. Not even to their tech support.

Just want add my name to the list. Have tried all methods I could find to make Siri work on my smh10, results were very temporary. Currently on IOS 13.4, no luck. Siri comes on then immediately shuts off.

Same problem with a Sena 30K Bluetooth headset (update 3.0.1). IPhone 8 IOS 13.4.1

When I activate Siri with the call button, I hear the beeps in the same second. Can't ask Siri anything.

This flashes black on the screen. Only the phone microphone works.

Just to say that I have the same problem with the SMH-10H-fm - worse still, since the last update 13.4.1 the bluetooth does not even detect my helmet anymore which always worked very well before. I installed the latest Sena updates as well, so the problem really comes from Apple. I don't understand how they can drop people like that. Sorry for my English, it is a translation...

Oh so it's not just me! My old SMH-10, which I figured was the issue does the whole Siri beep like it's activated and immediately close thing. It really sucks when you want to play specific music or make a phone call.

Test it with another iPhone 11. That way you can start to determine if it is the phone or the helmet.

Tried this shutdown option but no good on my Freecom 2 :(

I finally got it to work after 13.1.2, it’s first time since all 13 versions that it’s working!

Even though it failed a couple times, now it’s mostly working!

I am having that exact same problem with Bluetooth earpieces. Multiple types of earpieces. Have not been able to figure out a fix. Looking for a little help on this one also.

Disconnect from the WiFi and try it using cellular data instead.
