iPhone 11 Pro Max screen colour issues

I have seen it on various display models also, some in the apple store itself. If it is affecting more than your wallpapers it would be worth taking it to a genius bar. As far as I know, and as far as I am affected, it is only on wallpapers.

I’ve attempted this multiple times and it has not fixed the issue. I have spoken to various advisors who have said engineers are STILL unsure of the cause and have no definite fix. Restarting fixes it temporarily but once you change your wallpaper again, it will return.

You have to turn off the phone and than turn on.

Doing this simple thing will fix the problem.

you can also procede with the hard reset: press volume up, than volume down, than hold the power button for about 10s until the Apple logo will appear.

these 2 methods will fix the problem💪🏻

Is anyone still having this issue got my phone 30 days ago and I’ve noticed washed out colors as well dark greys looks very light Grey when this happens as well as all other colors washed out fixes when I restart phone but ends up happening agai.

Honestly this is driving me crazy! Got the new iPhone 11 max pro, and so excited to utilize the amazing screen, just too discover any photo I set as the home wallpaper is completely washed out! Some might think it’s only a minor issue but tbh for the amount paid this really needs to be resolved ASAP. The only photos that look decent as the background are the apple wallpaper. Anyone know when this will be fixed?

Finally someone with the same problem, its very weird problem but not all 11 pro max have it , i have got 3 max pros and one of them is having this problem which I cannot understand. Washed out wallpapers, but i think its effecting many things too not only wallpapers and its killing me.

You are right, i did change the wallpaper after reading your comment and it went back again to washed out colors. It is killing me because i feel it effects not only the wallpapers.

the question is: are all i phones have this problem? I have a pro max 256 Gb .

I have the exact same issue with the iPhone 11. Running 13.1

Same exact issue on iPhone 11 Pro Max. Home screen is washed out and desaturated, even after 13.1 update but same background photo looks fine in the preview pane . Any other tips?

I agree, I did that too and nothing has worked. So annoying
