iPhone 11 screen scratches

my wife and me have put our brand new iphones 11 inside our pocket pants and both screens get scratched the second day of use (mines right in the selfie camera, apple says “without mal function”...). Has someone experimented somethg similar? We are really dissapointed, apple only cares if you have bought “apple care”....we cant use the screen without a protection: worst screen ever....👎

The same happened to my iPhone Pro. I just got it yesterday and kept it in a pocket with nothing else. Less than a day later and there's already a scratch. I didn't have this problem with the iPhone X.

I would think if it was the coating you wouldn't be able to feel them though. I could be wrong on that though I know my 4 is still in better shape than my 11 pro and that phone has gone several rounds with drops, toddler tantrums and 30 seconds inside the mouth of a German Shepard, yet even though my 11 has never seen the inside of my pocket and has never been in a coat or bag. It rarely leaves my hand except when I am at work or home in which case it sits on a wireless charging pad at those points. iPhone 4 not one mark on it, iPhone 11 looks like it hitched a ride on a missile

6 MONTHS without a screen protector on my iPhone 11 Pro, and not a single scratch on the screen, or even any micro-scratches. Carried everywhere by itself in my front pants pocket. It's been to China, it's been to Europe, it's even been to Topeka. Still looks like the day I bought it (in a clear Otterbox Symmetry case with no protection for screen or camera lenses other than the raised lip on the edge of the case).

This will be my last post here because I just put a Belkin screen protector on my phone. I'm traveling to somewhere with a lot of sand, and sand is the only thing that will scratch this phone (and every other phone on the market). Common sense.

I did have a good laugh with the Apple Store employee about online selection bias.

Same exact issue. Not even in a pocket or a purse. I’ve been at home all day and apparently it just got scratched on a breadcrumb or something... which is how I found this thread. Seems abnormal. I’ve had the phone for 2.5 days... my old iPhone 8+ lasted scratch-free with no screen protector for two years. Kind of regretting this “upgrade”.

Hi everyone. I use these groups to find solutions and there have been some good suggestions. I don’t, however, appreciate those people condoning me

for asking for assistance here. Apple help does nothing. So if you don’t want to hear people like me asking for help then don’t be on these discussions. It jus makes me feel worse about the scratch that came in my new iPhone. I am

not going to follow anymore as those naysayers make it hard to come up with solutions. Peace.

Same issues as everyone else!! My iphone X 3 years old that I never put a screen protector on does not have a single scratch. Iphone 11 pro max day 1, 3 scratches in my pocket day one, with plastic on it!! $1450.00!! For a phone with a screen that test the same hardness as my fingernails!! I would love to see apple take some ownership and correct issues. Worse screen on the market!!! Screen cover should not be a requirement!!!

I request all to please upload picture of their scratched screen here (I already have uploaded). In that case Apple might notice it and give some attention to the issue.

I need an opinion from everybody in this group chat as its something completely different and is nothing to do with my phone. So what it is I have a MacBook and ive only had it now for about 3 months and when I first got it it was perfectly fine and all that I was doing what I needed to do which was to look after it so that's what I did I mean I'd even brought a case for it for the front and underneath to stop it getting damaged but anyway enough of that. The thing that is on my mind is that on the inside of my MacBook on the one side by where the mouse is I have got to really really fain scratch marks on it where its took the colour off and its really bothering me so I need options on is that better than the whole MacBook being scratched and if it would bother anybody else if it has to had happened to your. I mean if it has or had happened to any of your macbook's Please will you answer me back and let me know as it would make me feel so much better if you did as this has been on my mind since the day the scratches ended up there. but the wired thing is I can't seem to work out how they got there when every time I was finished with my MacBook I would put it down after using it unless the scratches came when I left it open as I did accidentally drop my phone on it

do you think I should still try the technique of toothpaste and a soft microfibre cloth and see what happens because I know this sounds silly but I feel like I need to take it back up to the shop and let them know what ive done and see what they say even thought they are probably going to tell me that its nothing that bad and that they can't do nothing and they'll tell me to stop worrying about it and that's its fine oh and that they will also say at least the whole thing isn't smashed which to be honest they would have a point but then again at least I'd of gone up there in the end to get my own opinion just so then it can put my mind at rest and stop me from worrying so much just like I am now so I do apologise if I am its just its driving me crazy really bd and I don't know what to do apart from that I have asked another family member about it and they said its not that bad and then my friend even put across to me that its better than the screen being smashed so I took that opinion into consideration and just went with it and Ive kept quite ever since as I have been trying to not let it bother me in any kind of way

im so sorry but could you please explain to me what a flaw is as I don't understand you option and what you mean I'm very sorry and okay I will do and wait to see what they say as its driving me insane as every time im on my MacBook I know that they are there because I can see them faintly especially when my MacBook is under the light and in a certain position

Thank you for you feedback means a lot so at least now I know that im not the only who's had this happen to them
