What (s)he stated, directly contradicts Apple's own explicitly stated policy. Saying "trust me" is not providing evidence of the claim that was made.

Believe what you want and complain as often as you want on this forum. I'm by no means telling you to stop posting. I'm suggesting you're wasting your time as we're telling you the truth because we get to speak with Apple directly in the inner-forum. Just know that posting your complaints here get's you nothing, but complain away and as often as you like if it makes you happy. Or do as we suggest, which does actually bring your issue to Apple's attention directly. Your choice entirely.

I'll answer your question since I saw it via email. And the answer is absolutely not. I'm a user just like you're a user. But I've been on this forum for at least a full decade now and I respond to a lot of threads actually trying to help people with their issues with their iPhone/iPad/Apple Watch. I'm one of those nerds who enjoys figuring out why someone can't do something and help them do what they want, or what they need to do when get locked out of their phone because they've forgotten their passcode, etc. I get absolutely nothing in the form of compensation or products. Users award me points for helping them and that's it. It's actually nice when I'm able to provide help to someone and I answer their question.

You're right - as a new user on Apple Support Communities with 20 points, why would you believe what someone here for over a decade with over 100,000 points gained by answering user questions has to say? 🙄

I have a brand new Apple I phone 11 never had it in my pocket used it a few time in the house never been dropped etc still got scratches on it explain that discussed always had an I phone and never had one scratch so easy

We have the same problem with iPhone 11pro Max it has been in a protective case from day one with a flip over cover to protect the screen and never put in a pocket always in my partners handbag yet yesterday a scratch deep enough to be felt with your fingernail appeared on the surface of the screen, we would appreciate any assistance from anybody that can advise what we should do to fix/remedy this or is it the coating that needs to be replaced/repaired is this something that Apple should do f.o.c.

I guess you have never owned another phone before because no they don't. None of the other dozen different phones, including previous model iphones, have ever scratched this easily. Don't be an apple apologist.

If I were a betting man, I'd say lady luck finally paid you a visit in not the nicest way! Is there a new iPhone 11 in your future? As one of the top ASC contributors, you need to have the latest, you know, for education purposes!

There is an 11 Pro in my hand. Major splurge but, as I'm only buying phones every three years or so, I rationalized it.

The camera is astonishing, despite what people have said in that other thread. It takes amazing low light pictures. I'm still getting used to the lack of Home button. I had the Home button set so that it would unlock by just resting my finger on it. The whole swiping to unlock isn't ingrained yet. I've just started to play with Voice Control. The 7+ really didn't work well if that was enabled.

The neat thing about waiting three or four years to buy a new phone is that the new phone seems sooooo much better than the old one.

If sand really is everywhere and glass really is glass is glass and the iPhone 11 really is as hard on the Mohs scale as you've previously claimed before on multiple occasions, not having even a microscratch without a screen protector on is nothing short of a miracle. Or do you live in a hermetically sealed bubble?

I have just got my iPhone 11 and only had it since Friday and I have had the same problem as you I have gone and scratched my screen but only really faintly and yet I've only had my iPhone for 4 days and I was really upset with myself but its not just that I think it was because I have been to over protective with it since Friday and personally think I've scratched it but accidental so I know how you both feel on that one I really

I live in the real world, where most people don't need the obvious explained to them over and over and over again.
