It must be really annoying to those posting here (who have almost dried up, when you would actually expect the number to be steadily increasing in proportion to the increasing number of iPhone 11 series that have been sold) that no one is paying any attention to them. There hasn't been a single news article published about "scratchgate" in the past week. And tweets on the subject are a bare trickle (and my analytics shows that two-thirds of those were actually posted via the Android platform).
Why? Because all smartphones are scratched by sand, and iPhones have had the same degree of scratch resistance dating back to the iPhone 7 and exactly the same as comparable current Samsungs (although clearly better than the current Pixels).
We're sorry that you got sand in your pocket and scratched your new iPhone, but now you know better. Stop complaining about normal wear and tear, buy a screen protector, and get on with your life!
[BTW, given the paucity of social media activity on this subject, I suspect many of the posts here are fake (you do not need an Apple device to sign up for an AppleID and post). So don't be gullible sheeple and believe everything you read online, especially when independent testing has shown there is not a scratching problem with the new iPhones. There's a lot of losers out there who get childish kicks out of posting BS.]
