This is not true. Apple employers are free to roam this forum and even post. This goes also for executives and if you think not a single one of them did not read what is posted here or follow the topic, you are really naive. Everyone here reported to apple too.
Apple is business and as with every business if the issue is not super major or widespread (don't forget that 50% uses screen protectors and can't see how bad the screen is regarding scratch resistance) - they will not do anything. Reporting to them will not do anything even if it's 2 millions. How many people reported broken screens on macbooks (because of short cable that was PROVED to be EXTENDED in the next year's model!!! They not only stated nothing is wrong with the cable length, but forced those clients to pay insane amount of money for the fix), I can list 15 more cases where they refused to accept a engineering/defects till the last possible moment.
Only publicity can force them to act sooner or at all. Keeping it private only between client and some representative of apple will not do anything (except the few cases that on their own responsibility store managers do exchanges/repairs).
By your advice there was not going to be any thread here, no news at all, no discussion and noone was going to know about the issue or that other persons experience it too. Censorship, what century you leave in? Let people speak, don't worry about them not reporting to apple - all reported it to them too and was rejected or not, but they are free to post here and discuss the topic with the other people that knows how an naked iphones fairs - something you lack experience with as you never used one without a screen protector that was put in the store. ;)
