iOS 13.1 cutting off text of forwarded emails?

The issue is gone after upgraded to iOS 13.3 latest beta.

It's really annoying but a work around is to select all of the text in the email before forwarding or replying. Works every time for me. Hope this helps. Thanks.

I deleted the mail app and then couldn’t get it to work again!! so In my frustration I downloaded the outlook mail app which it turns out is so much better! So for people who use exchange or outlook this is a good solution....

These are the reported issues so far and none are resolved in iOS 13.2

· Lose the email thread when forwarding or replying to emails, only the subject title is carried over.

· Can’t see the drafts folder emails being saved

· Emails that you have replied to remain as unread

· Duplicate emails are coming through

· Often have to restart the mail app in order for new emails to come through

· Issues with flagging emails, doesn’t always work

Have tested allot of 3rd party email apps - dont have the issue

clearly an ios 13.1, 13.2, 13.3 beta 1 bug thats built into the native mail app and needs fixing.

Apple has not even got this on their fix list i bet.

Having all the same issues with mail app in 13.2.2. Very disappointing that Apple messed with something as critical and fundamental as email. Our users are now using the Outlook App and Gmail apps as a workaround (ridiculous).

We have a dozen users reporting these issues so the old “wipe and reset” nonsense is a joke. They have e iPhone 8, Xs and 11. So it’s. It hardware specific.

We can’t wipe and reset everyone’s phone. Apple needs to OWN THIS AND FIX IT. This is what happens with monopolies folks ...

• Forward messages truncated
• Duplicate sent items appear
• Send email arrow button doesn’t respond sometimes. Have to exit app and reopen then it works.
• messages don’t refresh in folders (especially ALL SENT ITEMS folder)
• other day mail app got stuck with an “UNDO READ” prompt and wouldn’t let me hit undo or cancel.
• And other strange things...!

Are you using an MDM environment? Did this resolve permenently or is it still an issue.

Deleting the Mail app seems like a good option and then reinstall.

Update to 13.2.3 and it should fix the issue

This is definitely Apple Mail app. iOS Outlook does not have this bug.

Same issue, iPhone X s, iOS 13.2.2, iPhone 11 Pro iOS 13.2.2 iPad Pro 11” iPadOS 13.2. I find it happens more often when I am forwarding from my sent items, it is creating an issue with my boss. Something I noticed, I also have the outlook app loaded and it works great all the time but when I reply or forward with this app it always ask if I want to load the complete message, when I click on this it always loads the complete message, in the Mail app it does not always ask and when it does it may or most of the time may not load the complete message. I am going to try and delete the Mail app and re install and set the accounts up again maybe this will work.

Really is hit and miss. The whole 'Mail' app has been changed and replies and forwards, missing thread of email is really annoying. Really should be taken care of ASAP as this is affecting many users and their devices. Apple need to fix this now as talk of moving to another platform is not out of the question.....

I even tried iOS 13.2 beta 2 and got the same results. Have logged the issues with the Feedback Assistance as well. The Mail app is unusable for corporate users. Draft emails don't work either.

It even been mentioned on major local news channels so it is big news as first suspected.

This is not MDM related, We have other users with different MDM,s experiencing the same issues.

I agree with you, we are also having the same issue, this is very frustrating as sensitive e-mails are not coming through, we have tried every work around possible, works temporarily (meaning 2-3 days) then reverts, user stop seeing entire thread when replying.

Apple needs to begin providing better BETAS for testing, maybe seperate Betas for Corporate Users.

I have just spoke to the support team via chat

they claimed not to be aware of the issue but have given me the exchange support number in the photo below. Apparently they can help. We should all report this issue to them
