iOS 13.1 cutting off text of forwarded emails?

This is currently still a problem with the most recent 13.2.2 update. It is intermittent unless you're doing testing that forces the problem by replying to/forwarding multiple emails repeatedly until it happens. I can usually recreate the problem in 10 emails or less

I've been on the horn to Apple multiple times and have provided them with analytics and even went as far as to record my screen to give them a visual of the problem. Last contact was last Thursday.

I get the impression that the "squeaky wheel gets the oil " at Apple so just bombard them with phone calls and eventually they'll get their heads out of their butts and fix the problem.

I use the iphone as a business tool and couldn't care less about the fluff they seem to focus on in updates. Seriously looking at another platform

I have installed the latest update, and it does sort out about 95% of the mail issues. Only minor bug I have experienced now is when you get to the last of your unopened emails, read and then delete it, whilst it displays an email in the viewing window, it doesn't highlight/select the relevant email in the email list on the left. However it does open, mark as read, and move to next unopened email (on deleting the previous one, for example) correctly now. Not sure yet if it has also stopped sending same email twice.

We've had a few users, all on Office 365 Enterprise plans, where forwarded emails are missing the previous content. This continues to happen even on the latest iOS 13.2.3 and we have removed/readded the O365 account several times to no avail. It doesn't happen on every email, just some of them (can't quite find the pattern).

The workarounds are annoying and aren't suited for non-technical users, not to mention, should be completely unnecessary.

13.3 brought back some of the issues that were resolved in 13.2.3 (see my previous post that has detail). This whole thing is a joke. Get it together Apple.

So far in 13.3:

• forwarding and responding to messages doesn’t include embedded photos.
• forwarding and responding to emails truncates original message.
• sent items don’t refresh.

I’ll just keep saying it ... disappointing.

ye smanaged to re-create the issue on iPhone 8 and iPhone XS both "reset/wiped" and setup - same issue.

tried MDM (airwatch) non-MDM, delete, reinstall, differen versions of exchange.

its an iOS bug - pure and simple.

anyone tried 13.3 beta? maybe it will fix it

I am running 13.3 beta 3 now and it seems to have fixed it. I will continue to monitor closer to the release of 13.3 production in case they "unfix" it.

Seems to change layout of mail (add more buttons), maybe they will also fix this issue with truncated emails

I’m also having this problem with the iPhone XR. I installed all of the updates, done reboots, checked Settings. It is really annoying and has affected my work email, an Exchange account. Please fix this ASAP!

Why isn't Apple owning this? This is a huge issue and continues to tarnish the reputation of Apple, especially since their support won't admit it is a bug in the first place. They tried to blame Microsoft Exchange and told us it is an issue with our environment. It is currently affecting my CEO who wants everyone to switch to Android ASAP since it inhibits employee productivity.

Called Apple Support today and they were also claiming that it was the Exchange and MDM solution at fault. How is this possible when we had no issues with previous iOS 12 releases and also its all over the net with people have issues with emails on IMAP and POP (Gmail\hotmail) etc....

Becoming a joke and been told by our Senior board members to get this resolved or its all Androids to be ordered next week. Thats about 300 devices...

One thought.  Is it normally when forwarding or replying to newly received mail?  Could it be connected to one of the other annoying problems with iOS 13 mail - not detecting new mail status correctly (in this case when deleting)?

So help me God if Cook doesn’t get it together I’m going to lose it. Apple should be mortified. Pathetic. One issue after the other. What morons do they have running this? This email issue is the last straw. Jobs never would have let this be released. What a sh*t show.
