Siri says uhhuh instead of yes
What is this new response I get when I say Siri? she says uhhuh instead of yes? I have iPhone 11 Pro Max I really don’t like response and want to change it.

Change the voice. The Uh-Huh seems to be associated with the South American Female voice option.
For instance the American Male has proper, respectful, intelligent sounding replies. I’m sure others do as well, you’d just have to try out different ones.
Or just don't wait between "Hey, Siri" and your question. Siri only says that if you pause. So, no pause, no uh-huh.
This morning Siri said when I accidentally press the side button, “what did you want to ask” and I said “I wasn’t talking to you”. Siri said “sigh"

That's so cool!
Very annoying and disrespectful for a AI devise to respond in this manner. My children don’t speak to me this way and neither will this computer. Total turn off from the Apple Corp.
Yes agree with you!
Just got 11 pro max and we both really dislike the uhuh and huh instead of yes when we say hey Siri. Should be a way to change it!

Have you told Apple?
Then why don’t you turn it off?
I find it infuriating how Siri responds to me in uh huh...how can i change it for her to answer with a simple yes?
Totally agree. I like using Siri when driving so won’t turn it off. Seriously thinking about a samson!!

Presumably you meant Samsung and not:

Yes it's creepy and why does my phone have to sound like a teenager with no care for the English language?
Same!
Changing it to any language dose not matter. It will still respond with an “Uh huh... I’m listening”
He at least sounds a little friendlier
Yep! Same thing. Who thought this was a good idea? Probably a kid programmer who doesn't understand different demographics. Just give us an option of how we hear Siri answer.
