Siri says uhhuh instead of yes
What is this new response I get when I say Siri? she says uhhuh instead of yes? I have iPhone 11 Pro Max I really don’t like response and want to change it.

Change the voice. The Uh-Huh seems to be associated with the South American Female voice option.
For instance the American Male has proper, respectful, intelligent sounding replies. I’m sure others do as well, you’d just have to try out different ones.
Or just don't wait between "Hey, Siri" and your question. Siri only says that if you pause. So, no pause, no uh-huh.
I love it
My problem with “uh huh” is that you can’t hear it as well as “yes”. I call Siri a lot when I’m trying to find my phone!

Hello ~ In that case say “Siri, where are you?” Siri then will reply “ Here I am” or “ I’m over here.”
I didn't know it would do that. Cool!
Hello ~ Then ask Siri to recite a poem!! Oh…I can go on and on with responses here😁

I know some of the cool, silly things but not so many of the exceedingly practical ones.

I'll have to try this the next time my phone gets lost under a cat.
Under a cat? 🐾 I wouldn’t recommend triggering the locator, then. Cats remember. 🩹
Hello ~ Good info as my cat would get very excited indeed.

Hello again ~ You and I are very likely the same in that regard🙃 I like learning something new everyday and this is indeed the place to do exactly that.

Would be funny if you could get Siri to bark while the cat’s are on top of it. “Hey Siri BARK so I can find you “
I do that, too.
Lol!
I’m with you. It urks me to hear the response “Uha”. It’s just rude. I get angry anxiety when I hear it. I feel disrespected.

What programmer disrespected customers enough to teach their product to speak like a disrespectful and rude child.
One's with a sense of humor, I think.

Uh huh
Ah, Lawrence, thank you for the laugh!
