Siri says uhhuh instead of yes
What is this new response I get when I say Siri? she says uhhuh instead of yes? I have iPhone 11 Pro Max I really don’t like response and want to change it.

Change the voice. The Uh-Huh seems to be associated with the South American Female voice option.
For instance the American Male has proper, respectful, intelligent sounding replies. I’m sure others do as well, you’d just have to try out different ones.
Or just don't wait between "Hey, Siri" and your question. Siri only says that if you pause. So, no pause, no uh-huh.
If you are upset with "uh huh" and "I'm on it" then you may need to reevaluate. Don't have TikTok but I am on FB, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and have a YouTube channel. And I have you beat by 13 years. I do have a fear of Realtors that I am working on.
Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately I do know a LOT of realtors they seem to have an affinity for marrying police officers. And they seem to all loathe commercial airline captains. We have a famous realtor in Texas from Frisco named Jenna. Perhaps you. have seen her on the news?
Don't I have to be able to dance to use TikTok?

Although Apple administers these communities, that doesn't include reading each of thousands of daily posts for possible feedback. However, Apple will "read all feedback carefully" here:

Posts are 2 years old. It"s now OCTOBER 15/ 2021 and no solution yet? Come on APPLE ! Same problem...
As it is unlikely that Siri responds the way it does by accident, Apple is no doubt well aware of the choice they made and continues to like it and does not view it as a "problem". While I highly recommend you submit feedback, in this case, I suspect it won't have much effect.
Hello ~ Well …the more that leave feedback the better chance we have that it will change. I have learned to speak a little faster….hard for me…and avoid it all together. I try to correct my grandchildren’s slang and my youngest always says” That’s what Siri says…”😳

I hate it!!!!! It is soooooo disrespectful!!!!
So, be polite to Siri and don't leave a gap between "Hey, Siri..." and your request. It's very rude to just say "Hey, Marsbars" and then say nothing else.

Can someone post the actual solution to this? Everybody is conversing about it but nobody has actually told us how to stop this annoying response. It’s unprofessional and stupid and I want it to stop.
I've given the "actual solution" probably a dozen times in this thread (at least) and other people have given it too. But, one more time. Do not leave a pause between "Hey, Siri..." and your request. Say it all at one go. E.g., "Hey, Siri, what time is it?"
Apple Wth!
What has also been explained a dozen or more times in this thread is that Apple doesn't read here for feedback or suggestions. You can let them know your thoughts here:
Just downloaded google assistant ..sadly it can't read messages yet. As soon as it can I will move to it..I use Siri when I am driving but can't stand the rude uh hu..
First of all this is a feature available only on iPhone 11Pro models, second you can change it by changing Siri language( english usa to english india ) and also setting up Hey Siri again.
Here’s my solution: Change to the female Irish voice. She still says “Hmm?” Or “Mmm?” sometimes, but she has a lot of other different responses too, and she sounds delightful 😉
Lorve it, tanks a million!
Just say hey Siri & ask yourself question! If u pause you get the rude hmmm response. Apple needs to fix this tho.
Yes I’ve done that and it works if you’re quick. However, there are times you don’t get your question out fast enough and it still says uh huh.
Or like I stated previously, you say “hey Siri” then ask your question only to find out it never activated at all. And I know everyone likes to repeat themselves smh
How about a Siri formality setting?
10 - Yes Sir/Ma'am/{insert your preferred pronoun here}?
