iPhone 11 volume low

My 11 pro has issues with volume & volume control. This AM I had a missed call due to same issue.

Anyway, this morning I was playing some music (pandora/youtube music) and the level was way too low. The only advice I could find on web was to goto Music setting -> EQ -> nightlife (sp). I clicked, no change. Then I clicked on other EQ settings with no appreciable responses.

Then I started to examine the volume control. Sliding it up to max vol, down to min produced NO appreciable response. But then, as I kept on sliding it and perhaps changing between music apps, it came to and started working!

IMHO, this is a major problem and should be addressed right away.

Otherwise, btw, I love the Iphone 11 pro.

I thought i had the same problem. Call volume seemed very low and even when the side volume buttons used to go to max it made no change. Then I realised there is a setting. Go to SETTINGS, SOUNDS AND HAPTICS, then look at RINGERS AND ALERTS. the CHANGE WITH BUTTONS option on my phone was not enabled. As soon as I enabled it the ringer volume is easily adjusted and works fine.

I purchased an iPhone 11 yesterday. I has been an aggravation from hello. The volume issue is more than maddening and it's high;y unacceptable on a device this expensive. I have an appointment at AT&T tomorrow. This is very inconvenient to be going back for problem issues. I'm hoping it's the user and not the device. However, volume should not be an issue AT ALL. Here is what I'm experiencing:

1) incoming call ringtone barely audible (I solved that myself)

2) sound from a text video inaudible (I think I solved that)

3) using the side buttons for volume doesn't work at all. Trying to raise the volume disconnects with the person I'm speaking with and shuts my phone off.

4) volume buttons SOMETIMES allow the raise/lower indicator to be seen. And it may appear on the left side of the phone or at the very top of the phone. It's a guessing game and an eye search

Look Apple...if you going to continually 'invent' a new iPhone version, sgow us some respect and work the BUGS OUT FIRST! We have enough on our plates in daily living to be second guessing and chasing your mistakes!!
