No Siri audio over bluetooth

Yep - Same here. Just installed 13.3.1 and now I can hear Siri over my car speakers etc... as it had worked before. Mine is Iphone 11

Did not need to update my vehicle software etc... just needed 13.3.1

Good news!!!! iOS13.3.1 beta 1 seems to solve the issue!

Just updated to 13.3.1 beta this morning. I about wrecked when I could hear Siri respond to my request to play music for the first time in weeks in my car! Also tested it with various requests. Worked every time.

Installing betas is VERY easy to do. I've been running them on all my Apple devices for months with no issues. Go here (on the iPhone you want to update, can't enroll into the iOS beta program from a computer!!)

I had the same issue with my iPhone 11 and Subaru crosstrek after pairing the new phone. When I checked my Bluetooth menu on the phone, the car audio was listed twice. One listening = no Siri audio through the speakers, but when I selected the other (identical) listing, it worked perfectly.

13.3.1 solved the Siri and other BT issues (at least as far as I can tell for now). 11 Pro with 2015 CR-V.

Hi , I’m in Australia and here Apple have acknowledged the problem and have done all sorts of testing including me uploading videos to them of the problems in action and remoting into my phone. They’re calling back Saturday with the results of the testing but I can’t see the problems being fixed before the release a new bug fix iOS . All I say is report it to Apple care , the more people who do it , the faster the fix will be released

So I found a work around. Park your car and say hey Siri. Click the Bluetooth icon and select the other input of the car that was duplicated. End the call or whatever on your heads up display. Ask hey Siri again and she will talk however this needs to be done each time. So the issue is definitely with the duplicated second audio device appearing on the phone. I think the issue is with Siri trying to play the output audio over “normal” full quality audio while the interface on the car comes up and switches to hands free calling to play the audio which is a different audio stream at a lesser quality. So the audio is simply being sent to the wrong audio stream while the hands free mode of the car is initiated. Hope this helps Apple.

Exact same issue as you that started with my 11 max pro and iOS 13 back in September/October. Finally resolved with 13.3.1 on my 2012 Toyota Prius with Entune that had worked flawlessly with 8 plus for years. Thrilled I can now go back to being safe and truly hands free without my mute friend Siri distracting me with her poor communication skills. ;)

Regarding the sound just go to Settings-Face I’d and turn the option Attention Aware Features off.

I can get Siri to work if I press and hold the Enter (or pick-up) button on my steering wheel when connected through bluetooth.

FWIW, just finished a chat session an Apple Support person. They indicated this is a known issue resolved in 13.1.3. Have any of you updated to 13.1.3? Does it resolve the issue?

Unfortunately I'm on the 13.2 beta and the issue persists for me.

OK, multiple reports of 13.3.1 beta working. Looks like we have success. It *has* to go through their quality process before it can go into a mainstream update – Beta is part of that.

While we can’t declare victory until we get the 13.3.1 GA update, this should be seen as a major success. We should see this go GA within 30 days at a guess.

13.2 update fixed this for me.
