XR Photos have vertical stripes of color distortion

I replaced my ENTIRE phone and the problem still exists. it's not hardware, it's not software. I wiped everything and even did a back up not from iCloud and the issue persists. Don't waste your time replacing the camera.

I definitely agree. After Apple replaced my camera TWICE, they finally gave me a new XR. However, the NEW/REPLACEMENT phone they gave me still has the same issue. I stopped going back to Apple. It was a complete waste of my time and every time I go, they look at me like I am making this all up. Even when I showed them photos taken with iPhone 8+ and XR with one second apart, the iPhone 8+ did not have any issues while same photo taken with the XR showed banding / vertical stripes of blue and yellow. Frustrating!!!

Went to apple store and they were skeptical at first and did a series of tests and had to reset my phone and the issue remains. They proceed to replace my camera and initially it was fine but after a week, the banding came back. This has been an issue ever since the iOS13 update in early Oct, but I don’t understand why are they still not resolving it

My photos are doing the exact same thing. Green/orange vertical lines through almost every photo now. Have only noticed the issue since updating to iOS13 and newer. I hope they fix it in the next update, Can’t afford to have phone repaired and don’t think that would help anyway as it seems to be a software issue. Never had these issues with anything before iOS13

It is not artificial light! I have daylight shots with these strips. Other users from Germany too! Here one already speaks of class action. Why is Apple doing nothing? The devices come back defective. Is this a software or hardware problem?

Even if HDR is to blame! I want to use HDR !!!!

Ty, right now I am during restoring to fresh 13.1.3. If that not work I go to the store. Here u have an example of the problem in daylight

iOS 13.2 still has the same problem: yellow/blue stripes parallel to the longer edge, i.e. horizontally on the sensor. Most visible in darker areas. It happens on my iPhone XR but not on iPhone X32

I am having the same issues and I believe it has to do with the software as so many people are experiencing the same thing. It ruined my photos

Checked on my sister XR, there is no any issues... I'm gonna reinstal IOS, if no change then wait for the update. If new update won't fix it i'll go to store. I bought my XR 2 weeks ago :).

I reinstaled to ios 13.1.3 fresh firmware - no success, stripes. So i'll go to apple store. I will write how it went. Cu Thank you Sunfishiver/ Leonie.
