XR Photos have vertical stripes of color distortion

I have a new iPhone XR.  Update version 13.3.  When HDR mode is turned on, I have yellow-green lines in photos.

What surprises me most in this situation is that Apple is a company that positions its smartphones as premium.  It is very strange that at the stage of software quality control, the manufacturer does not detect these problems and errors.  As a result, people who spend a lot of money on iPhones are forced to suffer and look for ways to solve problems on their own.

I've had the same problem for over a month now. I have chatted with Apple Support and they have been sending me to the Apple Store to get my XR checked. Apple Store have already replaced my camera TWICE and I gave it a few days to test. Unfortunately, I'm still having the same problem. I have taken photos with husband's iPhone 8+ (same spot where I have taken photos with my XR) but the photos did not show the same issue. I am just getting really frustrated because this is the second time they have replaced the camera. They told me if I experience the same issue, we might look at other options - maybe replace my phone. And IF they replace my phone if I ever do come back to the store, would I still have any issues even with the replacement phone? Because one of the staff there said this is an issue with the iPhone XR. All my softwares are updated. I got annoyed too when they guy who looked at my phone on the second visit was skeptical towards me because when he took photos at the store, my camera was fine so he kind of hesitated doing anything with my phone. Any other suggestions? I'm thinking of going to the Apple Store again this week.

iOS 13.2 still has the same problem: yellow/blue stripes parallel to the longer edge, i.e. horizontally on the sensor. Most visible in darker areas. It happens on my iPhone XR but not on iPhone X32

I have this too and so does my husband assuming my daughter as well. So we’re taking our phones to Apple as turning smart hdr off didn’t help the issue and Apple support chat was no help

I went yesterday after spending 5 hours my hubby getting a new camera and me getting a new phone. The new phone still has the issues so I have to make yet another appointment and go back and spend another at least 2 hrs there to get this fixed

My photos are doing the exact same thing. Green/orange vertical lines through almost every photo now. Have only noticed the issue since updating to iOS13 and newer. I hope they fix it in the next update, Can’t afford to have phone repaired and don’t think that would help anyway as it seems to be a software issue. Never had these issues with anything before iOS13

I’m having the same issue. Notice it about a week ago and bothered by this ever since. I tried fresh installing iOS 13.3 using iTunes and the issue is still there. Tbh, I’m quite disappointed with apple for this. Hopefully its software issue not hardware and apple should fix this asap.

Same problem here. Hope to get a fix in the next update

Checked on my sister XR, there is no any issues... I'm gonna reinstal IOS, if no change then wait for the update. If new update won't fix it i'll go to store. I bought my XR 2 weeks ago :).

Ty, right now I am during restoring to fresh 13.1.3. If that not work I go to the store. Here u have an example of the problem in daylight

I reinstaled to ios 13.1.3 fresh firmware - no success, stripes. So i'll go to apple store. I will write how it went. ** Thank you Sunfishiver/ Leonie.
