notifications not working ios 13.1.2

Since installing iOS 13.1.2, I do not message notifications on either my iPhone Xr or my watch. Receives are received, but no notifications. I’ve changed settings on both watch and phone, but still no notifications. Is this a known bug? Fix on the way?

I have an iphone 7 and I had the same issue and tried every solution I could find - even did a phone reset. I finally got it fixed - by turning off imessages, facetime and phone notifications and then doing a restart on my phone.

Still can't send any pics via message, email or airdrop - but at least I'm getting notified when someone calls or texts me.

I don’t know how you didn’t hear of this, I went to the Apple Store last week and it is a common thing now after the iOS 13 update. Even with 13.1.2, it did not take care of the problem. The phone seems to do it half of the time, then it doesn’t do it other half of the time. Where text messages will make a noise and pop up when you receive one, and then other times it won’t. And then your phone will be ringing when you look at it, but there’s no noise. And you go into the facial recognition, and turn that off. It still doesn’t work. and I don’t half a dozen people where we have "reset all settings" and still didn't work. And if you’re using Google Maps when you’re driving, your calendar notifications pop up, but text messages won’t. Whatever they did in this series of update is horrible.

My phone and text are on sound and vibrate, with a banner showing up on lock screen. Since updating to iOS 13.1.2 last Friday I am getting nothing. Some calls aren't coming through at all; I just happen to notice a voicmail was left. I honestly don't know if I am getting all of my texts either. I rely 90% on text for my job. My battery is draining very quickly also. I went to the Apple Store in Fort Worth yesterday and it's stil not fixed. I'm downloading all of my texts because I can't lose them. They suggested that once that is done that I needed to reset my phone to 'Set Up As New Phone' and that "might fix it". This is very frustating. Is Apple going to send another iOS update to fix these issues?

Update: I did another soft reset to fix the pic issue and it worked - but then I stopped getting notifications again. I went through and turned off iMessage and FaceTime again and then did another soft reset. Seems to have worked again but who knows for how long? And you don’t know you’re missing calls and texts until suddenly you are.

I was laid off work on September 19, so right now I’m not getting any noise at all. I have employers calling me about interviews, and my phone doesn’t even ring, I’m getting text messages, and no noise. So I have to pick up my phone every five or 10 minutes to see if I’ve missed any calls or text messages. I don’t understand how Apple fixed three or four things, and this happens with the text messages and the phone calls!

I am having this same problem. Ever since the latest update I only get sound alerts maybe half the time when I receive a text message. I have tried everything listed here and everything google suggested and still nothing. It is very annoying. I get the banner notification but there is no sound unless the phone is unlocked which of course isn't safe to do and Apple won't let you do if you use their Wallet so it's a catch 22 situation.

Yes, seven out of 10 times I get no alert for my text messages, and probably seven out of 10 times I get no alert for phone calls, even though if I look at the screen I can see someone’s calling me. And being unemployed, and having employers call me for interviews, what a paiYes, seven out of 10 times I get no alert for my text messages, and probably seven out of 10 times I get no alert for phone calls. I have reset my phone to factory default, I have reset my phone up from scratch, I have done everything that Apple, and Google has suggested, yet since that update, the phone has a mind of its own. There’s no other way to say it. It does what it wants, when it wants. So frustrating! And I called Apple support this morning, and they said they have no update as to when Apple’s going to come out with another update to fix it.

Ever since updating to the new IOS 13 and the subsequent updates, notifications has not worked on my phone for certain apps. I have tried everything, resetting the notifications in the main menu in my settings and in the app itself, doing the soft reset, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, nothing works. This is really a joke. There has to be a way to fix these notification issues.
