notifications not working ios 13.1.2

I found a solution as follow

1- if you will use sim internet please check first if your carrier supported by Apple cooperations or not

some counties not supported for LTE or 4G

if so please don’t use 4G LTE as it will make conflict on notifications and use 3G instead for internet and calls

try to reset your carrier APN setting from cellular option

2- in case of WiFi notifications not received it is a big issue from your internet provider

first download VPN application like VPN master from App Store

connect throw any another fast network, he will connect you automatic

it shall works well

3- Try to fix your WiFi to 5 ghz frequency and channel 11

you will find it under your WiFi router setting, advanced, WiFi, frequency and channel

it will give you fast internet speed and data and also prevent from toggle between 2.4 and 5

but take care as this frequency will affect signal strength throw walls

4- Update to last IOS version

5- Some people found a conflict throw iMessage and FaceTime

if you need to be sure just deactivate them as if as you can and see what will happened

My iPhone 11 Pro Max is at iOS 13.4.1 and my watch is at watchOS 6.2.1. I purchased my phone back in November and had zero issues with my phone or watch notifications until 13.4 and that is when I started randomly missing alerts on my watch. If I unlocked my phone I could see that I received a message but no notification to watch or phone. Sometimes I need the alert to come through on my phone so I would put my watch in airplane mode, which turns off the bluetooth connection between watch and phone. This would then allow my phone to alert me. I now randomly miss those alerts as well. I have spent 3 weeks trying all the solutions and was excited last week when 13.4.1 came out but was quickly disappointed when I missed my first message only hours later. I use my phone heavily for work and this has caused a large amount of stress. If I can't find a solution soon, I will have to go with a different brand and I've been on the iPhone since the beginning and really enjoy my watch. Oh well, we'll have to see.

I have no issues with airplane mode as it works just as I want it. I understand that that alerts will only go to either the watch or the phone when wrist detection is on. When I don't want my watch to alert I purposely turn on airplane mode on my watch. The only issue I have is with random alerts being notified whether I am wearing my watch or not. I've been using these products since Apple released them.

For others following, the step that provides me the most notifications is turning off iMessage. Hasn't been 100% but a lot more consistent than with it on. Good luck everyone!

I have an iPhone 8 and I upgraded it to the new iOS 13. I slowly begun to have problems receiving notifications of incoming text messages. No sound and no preview on the locked screen. So I missed a lot of incoming text messages. I tried rebooting; played with all the notification settings; played with the Bluetooth setting; switching iMessage to sms; but nothing worked. I inadvertently changed my dark view to light view without the intention of that being a fix and suddenly I have all my text message notifications again. The ring and the preview in the locked screen are both back working normally. Something is wrong with the compatibility of my iPhone 8 and the iOS13 in the dark view. I hope this helps some people out there.

Hello, I am not getting notifications until

I open apps. It icludes all apps. I have light/dark on automatic, so it sometimes on light sometimes on dark mode. However I do not receive notifications. Should I turn of automatic and just stay on light mode?

I followed your steps and as soon as turned off my WiFi the notifications came back I turned iMessage and FaceTime back on and still ok, I’m going to try fixing to 5Ghz later. Thank you for steps, works for me 😀👍👍

Now in taking photos a black spot is now showing, left top corner! It doesn’t show in video setting, only in regular photo mode!!! And it moves a bit meaning it’s the software!

My sometimes my ring notifications don’t come up either and it did before. I work nights and it would be nice to know if my cameras catch anything APPLE!!!

Same problem here, not notifications since upgrade to ios 13.1.2 and after reading this thread... pretty lame apple hasn't come with any announcement / update

Apple, is this a joke? I am not seeing any imessages notifications ever since I updated to ios 13.1.2 on iphone 11 pro max.

So much for World's Best Pro advertising stunts. How can basic stuff break?
