Battery Drain iOS 13.1.2 on iPhone

I have upgraded my iPhone 7 plus to iOS 13.1.2. The battery life is not up to the mark. Earlier the battery would run from 100%to 35% for 24 hours with moderate usage. (Battery drains to 50% for 8 hours even when there is no usage at all/no SIM card/ no application installed/background app refresh is turned off/power saving mode is turned on). I tried the following

  1. waiting for 4-5 days believing that indexing will complete
  2. complete factory reset
  3. completely uninstalling all the apps and keeping the mobile as fresh without any data
  4. keeping the mobile in flight mode

But the battery drain is same in all cases. Is this the fault of iOS? My iPhone battery performance is 89%

Thanks for your view and answers.

Update:

I’ve tried the 1% experiment: allowing my phone to run down to 1% (which takes only maybe 30min of very light usage), do NOT go to Low Power mode, and keep using the phone as normal.

My phone has been running normally, at 1% battery, for hours now.

Again, I have an SE with a newer battery at 97% health. I never had any battery issues at all until iOS 13.

I’ll post back after recharging it, once it the battery hits 0% completely.

I have the same issue with my SE. Battery was replaced by Apple 11 months ago and has 99% max capacity. I'm on 13.2.2. Where I could go a day on a single charge before, it's now down to half that time. On hour of listening to podcasts without otherwise interacting with my phone can drain the battery 30% or more. My wife and daughter who have a 6s and an SE2 have the same experience. There's clearly something wrong with iOS 13.

This has been going on since IOS 13 in September. Battery Drain. Tried every fix, wipe and reinstall, new battery, blah blah blah. It's the software in IOS 13 updates. iphone 6s still draining. Called support many times. No help. They don't recognize it's a problem. Very frustrating. Really wish they'd respond. There are other threads here and many articles from techs online. THIS IS AN ISSUE. HELP APPLE.

Is your battery also draining when your device is plugged into a wall charger? I have an iPad Pro and, prior to all the iOS 13 updates, I could plug it into a charger and use it without the battery draining at all—-in fact, it would charge. But now, I can have it start on 89% when plugged in, then steadily drop to 50%, fluctuate as much as 5%, then drop again. But if I don’t use it, it charges, though it takes all night. I can’t seem to find any viable solutions to this problem. I’ve followed all the battery-saving suggestions, and even did a reset (but not to factory specs), but no improvement. Frustrating.

I have the same problem with my iPhone SE. I did all the tricks that I found by googling. the only one which worked was erasing my phone and restoring my back but after 1 week it was again the same. I did for few times and it worked only for a week and the last time even not for a day. I contacted apple and they tried everything to find the problem but they could not. I told them that it is obvious that the problem is iOS 13... because i didn't have this problem before. it is not hardware problem it appeared just right after updating to iOS 13. I was begging them to let me to go back to iOS 12 but they didn't accept. I was a loyal apple customer for more than 12 years when iPhone 2g came out, using mac and iPad. but I am not anymore.
