Removed case and glass from LCD as Apple Support want. Problem still persists. I found that turning ON VoLTE helps! As long as phone is connected via LTE there is no echo; when it switch to 3G - it starts echoing. My carrier told me to turn off VoLTE. That that's all what they can do...

If you have an Mac machine you need to plug the iphone in to the wire charger cable and connected to your mac then,

you go and make a full backup of your phone after your backup is finish then you can install and mess with your phone as much as you want as when you get to the point that is not working as it should then you plug in the cable to your phone and Mac once again and restore the full backup that you just made it so your phone is back to the same point where you just left it. PS in case you did not backup your phone before you upgrade to the new beta software basic you just F your self and now you have to wait until they fix the issue and is nothing that you can do just live with it ! :)

It’s funny I show up at Apple today and they had no record of it showing a hardware failure from the engineers

btw that replaced the phone today and it’s still echoing

they wanted me out of the store cuz I was talking about the issue with the phones at the table I was at with people that were getting the 11’s

I would disagree. My husband and I have had the 11s since about the first week they came out, so we have been through at least two ios updates. His phone has been echoing since he got it and mine has always been fine. He did everything they told him to do and nothing has worked to date. I have seen others post that it is not every phone, but a good percentage are affected. It is not software....

Very true but I’m on my second 11pro max with the same exact issue as the first

apple is never going to admit to Anything

is wrong with the flagship phone they make

My iPhone XR didn’t do this and I can tell you that phone was as good as this so called flagship phone

I’ll be dumping this as soon as I can

but the question is does the iPhone 11 do this as well

Welp I threw in the towel , after Apple replacing my 11 pro max and it having the same exact Issues I feel they can’t help me anymore. They did offer to send me another one but I fear it will be the same problem, therefore I have went back to the best iPhone to date the iPhone XR .... lol I wasn’t even gonna try the 11 because of hearing those have the same problems.

Maybe I’ll give the iPhone 12 this year a chance

hopefully with All the feedback we have given Apple they will fix the design flaw and hardware with the 11 pro max

bye for now

Understood, sloppy sequence in posting to the discussion forum. Intent was just to share angst with Apple at their tight lips about this problem that they introduced as a regression bug in a fairly mature release of their o/s. They're portraying more incompetence than they should, from a customer service standpoint, given their place in the industry. That's on top of the incompetence in the quality control arena. I literally was planning to upgrade my iphone 7 to an 11 Pro this weekend, but stopped in my tracks after doing the minimal research that uncovered this widespread problem with ios 13 and the iphone 11 platform. I use speakerphone pretty frequently, so it's a dealbreaker for me. My iphone 7 is on 13.3, and the speakerphone feature works perfectly, no echo sounds on either side of the conversation. As I've just invested another chunk of cash in a MBP 16, which honestly was a leap of faith at this point, it's terribly unnerving and frustrating that Apple refuses to even acknowledge a widespread problem in the iphone 11 platform, along with an intent to address the issue. How long does Tim Cook expect his longtime loyal customer base to stay loyal? Read Stephen Covey's allegory about the popular seafood restaurant coming under new ownership; that's how I view the Tim Cook era at Apple. The clam chowder is getting pretty thin and undesirable. Similarly the frog dropped into the cold pot of water is just coming to a boil.

The 7 is great, but I was ready for an upgrade after a few cycles, wanted a slightly larger screen and OLED display and better battery. My 7 doesn't have the echo problem that's being widely reported about the 11, so I'm not about to drop $1000+ if Apple is not even at least acknowledging an issue. With every product flaw, they've had the same M.O., and it's often only until lawsuits start that they acknowledge anything. Granted, "antennagate", "you're holding it wrong" happened under Jobs' watch, so maybe the problem with Apple is greater than just Cook's management ability. They have had a ton of long-timers leave the company in the low-level tech positions, which would leave them woefully short on expertise.

The iPhone 7 was released under Tim Cook’s reign. And Apple has always had people come and go.

The company isn’t any different now than they always have been and they rarely “acknowledge” anything, they just realize a fix. As I already said not everyone iPhone 11 is having this issue which makes it much harder to diagnose and fix. If all those that are having the problem report it and work with Apple it will go faster. Posting rumors and ranting accomplishes absolutely nothing at all.

"Ranting", as you refer to it, at least expresses the frustration of the user community, and is vital in creating the additional buzz and activity in order to have a problem acknowledged and addressed. Nobody has to agree with this approach or opinion, and I support your right to do so. But for those who have shelled out $1000+ for a phone with a basic feature not working properly, I imagine they'd want more attention to the issue. And for those of us considering an upgrade, now not considering an upgrade, the buzz is a welcome alert to guide a purchase decision. Given that this website is called a "community discussion", I think all of the above is perfectly appropriate. If this was a support forum, then you are correct. But it is not.
