Removed case and glass from LCD as Apple Support want. Problem still persists. I found that turning ON VoLTE helps! As long as phone is connected via LTE there is no echo; when it switch to 3G - it starts echoing. My carrier told me to turn off VoLTE. That that's all what they can do...

I didn't know if they could repair the phone or not. So what are we all supposed to do then? The only thing I can think of to do then is replace the phone with a different phone. I mean oh, I know this is going to sound ridiculous, but if they can't fix my phone, I would be willing to trade it for an XR or something of comprable value. I wouldn't want another iPhone 11 because I wouldn't trust it. So I don't know what else to do and I don't know if they would be willing to do that anyway. If they're not willing to do that, then I'm just stuck with this phone that I'm paying on. And that's just not right.

I was wondering how it is that this issue has not been picked up by the online tech reviewers, but I am betting that not many owners know that this is a problem with their phones. I just spoke to an iPhone 11 owner last night, with her using the speaker, and she had no idea until I told her that I could hear an echo of every word I said. Not everyone is a speaker "power-user". I also think many people are too polite to tell the person using their speaker that the echo makes the conversation almost impossible.

I talked to a senior advisor as well a couple hours ago, and he was very nice as well. But, he said I need to do a factory restore through iTunes which I did almost two months ago and it didn't work and I told him that. I also said I would do it one more time but I honestly don't think it's going to help. I told him I felt like it was a phone issue, it's not a carrier issue. They're so hung up on carriers and SIM cards, I just think that's ridiculous. I told him I would like to send the phone back to them and take an iPhone XR in exchange, that I did not want another 11. That stopped him cold for a few seconds. And naturally, I heard how they got to get with their engineers. That's fine but what can engineers do? And what you said about jumping through hoops test to make a phone call, is pretty much almost word-for-word what I said to him too. I said I should have to contact Apple support do all this troubleshooting for the thousandth time for phone this expensive.

Hopefully they'll get this all straightened out, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I'm so tired of them saying it's everything but the phone itself--it's the carrier or the carrier settings, it's the SIM card, it's using a case or not using a case, and turning the volume up or down. All of those excuses are so ridiculous! They need to put the blame where it belongs and that's with Apple itself! They messed up with these 11s and they don't want to admit it because of the cost.

I know and I have been doing just that. But I'm getting so tired of doing the same things with this phone again and again to no avail. I've had this phone for 3 months and have actually used it for about 2 weeks. I can't hardly stand the sight of it. I'm especially sick and tired of Apple putting the blame on anything and anywhere, but where it belongs--on them! I hear about getting with their engineers. Where the **** were these engineers before they released this phone to the public?! All this troubleshooting they expect us to do at our inconvenience and expense should have been done before selling this phone. I'm almost at the age to be considered elderly. I don't want to be bothered with this crap. None of us should have to do this. It's not right.

For those of you who got your device replaced, are they giving you a BRAND NEW phone or refurbished? I’m not even willing to try if it’s refurbished because I’m always fearful of refurb products. If it’s new, it would come in the retail packaging like your original iPhone 11 came in. Refurbs come in a white box, with no charger or anything. Can anyone confirm?

The only reason I’ve installed the 13.3.1 beta is that they kind of fixed the issue with the LTE with the new modem firmware update and I hope they fix this one too and they are not going to f up other settings because lately every build is worse with all kinds of bugs WTF Apple get your heads together and stop making unnecessary updates just let it be and make it right !
