Removed case and glass from LCD as Apple Support want. Problem still persists. I found that turning ON VoLTE helps! As long as phone is connected via LTE there is no echo; when it switch to 3G - it starts echoing. My carrier told me to turn off VoLTE. That that's all what they can do...

Well, if it's a flaw in design, then they need to take responsibility and recall these phones and issue refunds. We should be able to use a case if we want to, I'm one of those people that uses a case, especially on expensive phones and turning down the volume to make it sound better?, is ridiculous! These phones are too **** expensive to "make do"! With the price of these phones, everything should work like it's supposed to, case or no case, speaker or no speaker! And speaking of cases, again, with the price of these phones, they should furnish a case that doesn't interfere with call quality!

Thank you so much for that! Because of your Twitter post, I created a Twitter account, which I'm very new at. And I replied to yours about my problem, and Apple reached out. I just now replied to them. They want me to update my carrier settings, which I told them, I'm no longer using the phone and haven't for a month. But for the record, the carrier settings were always updated and it still echoed. I told them I was tired of switching my SIM card out with each update hoping it would be fixed and it never was. So we'll see what happens. Again, thank you for your post, because I feel like maybe something will get done or this problem taken seriously.

I think it's all the iPhone 11s, pro, pro Max all of them. Which I told Apple support that on Twitter earlier today. I also told them that all these forums that it doesn't matter what cell provider you have, it's the 11 phones. They said to check my carrier settings and make sure they were updated. They have always been up to date and the phone still echoes which I told them that. But I also said I would sign back in on my phone, put my SIM card in, again, and give it a try. I did, carrier settings were up-to-date and it still echoed. When my friend called me tonight, first thing she said was "God that echo"! So first thing in the morning, I will let Apple know that. It's been like this the whole 3 months I've had this phone and I'm tired of it. Apple said today that they want to make my iPhone experience better. I appreciate that very much, but the only way I'm going to feel better about this is if they give me my money back and take their phone back. This is my first iPhone, and this whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I mean no offense to any iPhone fans out there, but I will never buy another iPhone again. iPhones are tainted for me now.

Painful is exactly right!! Phones this expensive should not have such a basic problem. Makes me wonder about the new phones coming out next year. I hope there are a lot better than these. For me personally, it won't matter because I will not buy another iPhone again. It's very upsetting to me to use a phone ,that I'm using now, a cheap budget phone, that has no problems and an expensive iPhone that you can't even make phone calls on. Something bad wrong there!

Ok, then what? Do they take your phone and fix it? Or exchange it for another one? If it's an engineering problem, they can't fix the specific phones that we're holding in our hands can they? I mean they would have to remake them? I was given a case number and they're calling me tonight, iPhone advisor? I'm wondering if anything will get resolved.

lol no they don’t take your phone

I doubt Apple will ever admit or recall the phones

and if they offer a replacement it will do the same thing as other users stated

they take the logs from your phone it sends it to them through data on your phone

On Twitter they insisted me contact them through private messages

my guess so they can Keep it off the public forum and not bring light to this serious hardware problem they let slip through the cracks

that’s why I posted it to twitter platform
