Removed case and glass from LCD as Apple Support want. Problem still persists. I found that turning ON VoLTE helps! As long as phone is connected via LTE there is no echo; when it switch to 3G - it starts echoing. My carrier told me to turn off VoLTE. That that's all what they can do...

Just reported my issue and my wife’s issue regarding the echoing “officially” ; they assigned me a senior advisor 🙄 because, “Apple takes wide spread issues very seriously, but this is not a wide spread issue at this time.”

Yeah, okay🤬! (I told her to look at their own forums and you’ll see that is not true!🤯)...So now I’m expected to jump through hoops and reset my phone through iTunes because that’s gonna fix what is CLEARLY a hardware issue. Like others have said, everyone needs to call and file a formal complaint about this issue to get Apples attention.

We have (me and my wife) IP11 and we experience this issue as well. Echo during a voice conversation.

What I know so far:

  1. This is not the case issue (tried to remove the phone from the case)
  2. This is not device microphone problem (echoing on AirPods also)
  3. This is a too-loud volume issue (experiencing this also on lowered volume)
  4. This is not a noise reduction option issue (i tried to turn it off)

FAST SOLUTION:

We found that this problem staring to exist and become more perceptible in a matter of time, so to fix this you need to TURN ON->TURN OFF FLIGHT MODE. This helps for 12-24hours. After that time echo is starting to be more and more hearable.

If you experience this issue please write in this thread- Apple MUST react.

The fact Apple doesn’t mention this in the iOS update lies the real problem

i too had a 11 pro max And Apple even replaced the phone

and guess what I still had the echo. The

case , new SIM card, screen protector wiping phone clearing all the nonsense settings didn’t fix the phone

Do u know what fixed it getting rid Of it

I’ll say it again this is a design hardware flaw not software

some on here saying that the iOS fixes the Problem well good for you, no where in the IOs update does it mention fixing a echo problem on speakerphone, google the problem u we’ll see many users still with the stated problem

I was having the same problem while I had the speaker phone was on everyone I talked to could hear themselves talk (echo) I have finally figured out how to make that stop!!!! Make sure that you go to “accessibility” and then “Audio/Visual” and make sure you have the “Mono Audio” turn ON I have attached a picture as well for everyone to see! 😁

I am experiencing the exact same issue. My wife and I both have the new iPhone pro models. I have the Max and she has the regular one. When we are speaking with each other over a phone call using speaker phone, I can hear myself over her as a very annoying echo. She is not getting the echo of my voice on her end. This problem has been consistent each time we both utilize speaker. We have tried trouble shooting it by turning volume down, and even turning off and back on the speaker during the calls; with absolutely no change, as the problem continues. I am not happy with this and if it’s a software thing Apple better sort it out, other wise I’m wondering if it s hardware issue.

This is a shame and it tarnishing the Apple brand. Apple I hope you address this issue ASAP!

Same here

I went to Apple and they said it Most likely is the network so I got a new SIM card

and they couldn’t replace my phone under warranty still

and I have the same exact problem

my workaround was to get Apple air pods

Ira such bs a 1300 dollar phone And can’t even use the speaker phone

hopefully there is a update to fix this problem on the 11 max pro phone

I have the 11 pro max...

I am having the speaker / blue tooth @ talking through my car speaker with a aux cord echo issue but I also have issues with echo’s on regular conversations. I’m about ready to get a new phone and try it out but with all the negative feedback I guess that won’t solve my problem...my boyfriend and I are in constant battles over iPhone verse Samsung....I’m starting to look like an ***! I consider myself pretty apple Saavy and yet I can’t find a fix for this. But and that’s a big but....I have noticed that I only ha e these issues with iPhones 10 and up and Samsung 9’s and up? So it seems like all the newer phones. I do not have this issue with anyone on iPhones 8 down to 5plus? So Any ideas ??

They will not give you a new phone (good luck) mine Was under the 10 days of having the phone . Btw that won’t solve the issue as previous people here posted they got a new one and it did the same thing

I been through Apple Support . and went to Apple and also Best Buy

unless the hardware gives a fail test wise they won’t replace the phone, bs if you ask me

they will blame it on the network lol

Apple says they never heard Of this issue before, when I was on phone with Apple they were hearing the echo lol

they did do an apple iOS update very recently gonna test it later on when I can call someone

if someone has tested it already Please leave feedback

I’m on a iPhone 11pro max ( att cricket network) btw
