Crackling noise/Feedback on Iphone 11 pro

I use original lifeproof case, but still having the problem even when not using any case! The case is more the problem! Thank you!

I am having the same issue! Sound is going in and out— distorting and crackling. When I try to play a video the video will freeze and glitch.

resetting all settings. Did not work. Setting back all my battery saving settings back.

Resetting didn’t fix the problem for me! It was the first thing they asked me to do...

This is happening to me also, noticing this on phone calls even recorded it on video!! Super frustrating, this phone is less than a month old.

Any iOS 14 beta user here. Has this issue fixed. Seriously, iOS is getting too many bugs lately. My CarPlay was not working. I had to reboot the phone few times.

How did the rep do it?

my iPhone11 has randomly just started this. Is there an actual fix or is it a faulty handset. had the phone 8 months now and I can't even make a call now. people just won't stay on the phone.

Well then bought my new phone recently and was facing the same issue, the distortion/crackling sound i faced it... and fortunately was able to find a fix turning off Volte and turning off bluetooth fixed my problem. Relax the phone is still great hats off to apple. Will be fixed soon in ios update i guess #appleinc4life

In addition to my comment. I tried turning down the right ( top ) speaker and it has helped significantly BUT it’s still somewhat crackling. Not sure if it’s worth replacing or not? I still can get a free swap so maybe I should....

UPDATE - I closed all apps and reopened them and tried it again with that speaker turned down. The crackling is back with full force so it’s not working. I think I’ll return the phone.

Thank you! I did the same as you, left on the protective screen cover until my new one comes. Had distortion every time I played a movie, when I received a txt etc. Tried everything to get rid of it, including a reset and was going to return it today. Read your comment and removed the plastic film, it worked!!! So glad I saw your comment, I was so disappointed with my phone.

I posted a while ago that I turned off Voice over LTE and the issue seemed to have gone. Can confirm now, months later, it remains gone. No issue at all now.

Surely a software update could rectify that then and they can stop pointing at hardware?

The iPhone XS worked fine and still does as my partner has it now but after a week of having the 11pro I am so disappointment and wonder why I spent £1.055 on a phone that doesn’t deliver. I’m also experiencing no connecting with 4G when not connected to my Wi-fi nightmare!!!!
