I have found that the most efficient way to load/unload music is to sync the music you want on your phone from Finder, after selecting the 'sync selected artists, albums, genre...' option, but beware that it will delete all the music you currently have on your phone. Once you've bitten the bullet, as I did last week, loading/removing music is kinda manageable. It's nowhere near as easy, simple or straightforward as it was with iTunes, but it kinda works, and at least, if you updates some info on your Mac, it then gets updated on your phone too, so there are *some* advantages.
So how does it work?
Once you've selected 'sync selected artists, albums, genre...' and cleared your iPhone:
- Go to Finder
- Make sure you've clicked on your phone on the left hand navigation
- Select the music tab
- Just tick the artists, albums or other things you want to sync
- Click on the Sync button at the bottom of the window... et voila!
It is a bit cumbersome when you have an extensive music library and don't necessarily want everything from an artist on your phone as you'll have to sync individual albums or songs, but it's the easiest way I have found to manage my music.
It seems that, now, PC users have a much better way to manage their music with good ol' iTunes than Mac have with Music... Quite an interesting move from Apple really...
