This option worked for me. Once I closed all the apps (except Safari) I was able to share just fine with Teams.

I share this same issue. Teams does not appear as an option.

I found that closing Photos solved the problem for me. I tried re-opening Photos, got the same error message, closed Photos again, and screen-sharing worked again.

I am still having this problem with Google Hangouts, not able to share my screen since the Catalina update. Extremely frustrating, is there anyone who has found a fix?

My issue was having the Microsoft To Do app open when trying to share my screen in Microsoft Teams. As soon as I quit To Do, I can share my screen.

I am able to solve it by closing a specific app - Harvest in my case - which looks very random to me but apparently this third party app is interacting strangely with Google Hangouts plugins...

Same. While Zoom shows up for Camera, Files and Folders, Microphone, and Accessibility, there's no option to add it to Screen recording. I use this every day. Help!
