Not able to share screen after catalina update

Hello,

I just updated to Catalina a couple of days ago and since then I am not able to share my screen using any software including skype or gotomeeting.

My clients are simply not able to view my screen .They are just able to see the top menu.

Anyone else facing the same issue?

Thanks,

Adnan

I ran into the same issue with GotoMeeting on Mac. There is an easy solution. Click the Apple in the upper left hand corner of the screen > System Preferences > Security & Privacy. Click the Privacy tab at the top of the dialog box. Scroll down on the left hand side of the screen to Screen Recording. Check the box next to GotoMeeting. You will be alerted to quit GotoMeeting before the change can take place. Then re-start GotoMeeting. You will be all set to now share your screen.

Thank you! We use Zoom at work and I was facilitating an online meeting yesterday. Nearly ruined the meeting when I learned that no one could see the documents that I was sharing on my screen. They could only see the desktop picture. I also have a screen capture app that hadn't worked since Catalina update. Your quick fix did the trick. Thanks so much for posting it.

I have the same issue, but in my case the problem is native Screensharing app from Apple.

I cannot start a screensharing session. The point is that I'm prompted to the Username/Password window (and it means that the connection is settled), but then the windows shakes, as if I use the wrong credentials. The point is that user and password are correct!

Anyone have the same problem? Any solution?

I have the same issue on Mac Catalina, I use Teams for screen sharing sessions and nothing works, this is quite frustrating. Can you please help me know the OS downgrade steps, will they this once if not have to switch to microsoft..I spend most time of my office hours on customer calls with teams and this is stopping me from using MAC for business.
