PDF’s not opening in iOS 13.1.2

My wife receives regular PDF's from her Father's nursing home, when she updated to IOS 13.2 (iPad pro) the None of the PDF attachments display correctly. We do not have the Alibaba or Win Zip apps. She has airdropped the PDF to my iPhone 6 plus which has 13.2 as well, same issue. Works ok on my 8 Plus running IOS 12.4.1. It seems to me that Apple need to do some more work on this to sort this issue. Hopefully sooner than later.

As mentioned above, we don't have Ali express or Alibaba. Certain headings do not display correctly. The PDF does open.

It seems to me, with the new IOS Apple have changed something in the way it reads PDF's.

This worked also for me. It was too bad ! I use my iPad Pro with lots of PDF’s to setup and maintain document libraries (more than 3000 documents). Device became almost useless. Now, it is fixed. Lots of thanks. Take care.

STILL not working. I wish Apple would fix this. I am sorry I ever updated. Still cannot view most downloaded attachments. I don’t have alibaba but deleted every single app one at a time until no more were suggested. This problem is very frustrating.

Password-encrypted PDF files downloaded in mail since iOS 13.1 cannot open. Says “This document is password protected”. So I enter the correct password (verified through opening successfully on PC). And the screen refreshes, displaying the same message “This document is password protected”.

Interesting. I reinstalled Alibaba out of curiosity and aside from changing the text on the icon from "pdf" to "D", I could still view the pdf without problem.

Thank you for this. It has happend to me before.

Worked for most of my PDF attachment but there must be another app that causes this problem as there are still a few PDF attachments that appear with the Centerlink logo and won’t open

Same with us - we mail check stubs to our employees and those with the latest update can not open them. None have Alibaba. Does anyone have a fix?
