Could anyone help me find the location of the Stickies Database on Catalina? I have the file in my backup from Mojave but cannot find the file on Catalina (~/Library/). Thank you in advance.

It didn't work for me. But I didn't have old database. I restored my Mac to factory settings as well and it still doesn't save any data anymore. Can anyone help me out here please?
follow the instructions above, then empty the Trash. after i did that everything proceeded as advertised.
my stickies keep getting reset. since updating to Catalina. I was able to get my old stickies back only for them to disappear again. this is so frustrating
Sadly, this didn't work for me. I tried a couple of times, following instructions carefully, but Stickies didn't import my old notes. What could I possibly have done wrong? Catalina 10.15.2
Are you 100% certain you're using the right "old" stickies database file and putting it into the user library file (and not into any other folder or the system library file)?
Yes. I renamed it including the word old; should make a difference?

If you don't have a saved StickiesDatabase file, you might be able to recover the stickies text files stored on the hard disk. Go into Finder and search for '.rtfd'
