Catalina-GarageBand problem
Since upgrading to Catalina, audio files imported to Garage Band (10.1) skip while playing, no matter where they come from (iTunes/Apple Music, QuickTime, Wondershare, etc.). How do I fix this?

I solved my problem by deleting 10.1 and downloading 10.3. I had assumed that Apple would automatically update ALL of my applications when I upgraded to Catalina. Wrong. So I did the GB update myself and everything is fine. No skipping.

I had the same issue on GarageBand 10.1.2 after upgrading to Catalina (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250724375). I went to an Apple store and tested it on a Mac running Catalina and GB 10.3.2 and found the same problem occurs. So if they have actually fixed it with version 10.3.3 then that’s good news.
