Have you already tried a "forced" restart of your 11Pro?:--> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

If your device still doesn't turn on, since it is still under warranty, have it inspected at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider:--> Apple – Location Selector

This morning when I got up my new pro 11 was plugged into the charger and the screen is black. I have tried the suggestion of holding volume button up and holding volume button down. then holding the on/off button hopping the Apple button logo would appear. this suggestion did not work. The Apple store does not open until 10 am.

its only on a morning after its been on charge over night that it does it.

I just expereinced the same issue with my 11 pro max. Charged it last night, it worked when I woke up then shut down or crashed and when I went to use it the screen was black and it was non responsive. Thank you for all of you who suggested a force restart, I didn't know how to on the 11 as I never had to before. My phone is working again, battery is at 100%. This is for sure a software glitch and I certainly hope Apple reads these threads and gets on top of this one fast. This is a big inconvenience and causes alarm where there need not be. Too many of us heavily rely on our phones, thanks to Apple. Please fix this issue!

It worked for me too! Just to share my experience. Phone turned off abruptly one night, charged it all night but found it dead in the morning. Charged many hours that day and tried (force restart) a bunch of times. Did other troubleshooting, charger cable, cleaned charger port, etc... I even scheduled an appointment with Apple services. But to my surprise the next morning(today), I tried the force restart again and the iPhone logo appeared! Then it indicated there wasn’t enough battery to power on, so I plugged it in, and in about 5 mins it turned on! So relived!!.. idk what happened, but the force restart worked 2 mornings after finding that my phone would not charge or turn on.

hope this helps others!

Woke up, and my iPhone 11 Pro (which sits on a wireless charging stand overnight) screen was black. Holding power button did nothing. Tried this and it worked, although it took about three to four tries-so be patient. Had to hold the power button down for a few seconds before I finally saw the white apple logo come on. Thank goodness. With all the apple stores closed because of the quarantine, I didn't want to have to wait for a refurb in the mail.

This worked me too! The first day I charged it (brand new 11pro max) 100%, I couldn't turn it on and started panicking. Kept pressing all the buttons and after 5 minutes of trying, it came on. However, the next time I turned it off, I had the same problem, but was able to follow the forced reset steps (volume up and down) intentionally. Why is this happening with brand new phones???

I have this same issue. I bought my phone 3 weeks ago and used it literally twice. It will not power on even after a hard reset. It has no damage or other visible hardware issues. I think I just have a bad phone, some are bound to fail QC and have problems. I see other users have issues just from updating. Sucks because I feel cheated now to have a phone repaired I bought weeks ago but that's one of the ones that didn't make it.

KoCo007,

I have an appt this Tuesday with apples for them to tell me what sorcery is going with it. I opened a case and they took the activation lock off my phone not sure why since it has nothing to do with the issue. I simply gave up till then. They would not refund my money since the 14 day pass and they schedule my appt out 2 weeks exactly a month after I buy it. I hope I won't be charge for this because it's already ****** to have a new broken repaired phone. I am sorry for your troubles, it sounds like u got a failed device like I did.
