Hi, either when i call some one or some one call me when i am using spekear if it not iphone the other person hear there self, if bith person have iphone 11 which is my case both hear themself with the echo... How to fix???

At first I thought it was the case because it had no holes at the bottom, so it was covering the speaker and mic, but even without it there would be an echo. So I took my phone during the week of purchase to T-Mobile and the manager was not helpful at all. He kept telling me it’s normal, it happens sometimes, it’s a network problem, the phone is not defective. But he told me my only options were to send it to Apple or Get a different one with my insurance. He didn’t even try to help, nor touched my phone at all!
The closest Apple store to my town is 2 hrs away, so I took it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy instead. They checked my phone and even though I saw the screen showed “issues found” they said the phone was working properly, but they could send it out to Apple to have it checked and it would take about a week. I work from my phone, so I can’t afford to be without it for a week. It was very frustrating because until this day, there is no solution to this problem online.
I finally visited an Apple Store and thank God the associate knew what he was doing! He took my phone for a few minutes, came back and told me there were no problems with the device, but he had me reset my network settings. IT FIXED THE ISSUE! I can’t believe it was that simple and no one could help me before. I almost purchased a new phone.
It has been months since that day and just a few days ago the echo came back, but it went away by resetting the network settings again.
Before you waste more money on another phone or your time waiting for them to fix your phone, TRY RESETTING YOUR NETWORK SETTINGS.

I just got my iPhone 11 Pro Max and speaker calls are horrible if the other person doesn’t have an iPhone also. NOT a case issue. I even waited for the latest update to see if it would fix the problem, but no. Apple needs to fix it through an update or issue a recall.
I’ve been having this problem too lately. Everybody on the receiving end literally gets angry at this point so I can’t use speakerphone anymore whether the case is on or not. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible. I spent a lot of money on this phone Not to mention apple care plus
I just spoke to Apple support and they said they never heard of the issue. Then ran a diagnostic on my phone and said that my software was out of date. When I read my iOS version and build it turns out I was up to date. They didn’t have a reason and said to bring it into a store to be looked at. My phone is a couple of months old and no other issues.
Then you have a very strange situation as iOS 13.3.1 fixed the echo issue for everyone without defective hardware.
I regularly use my 11 Pro Max in speakerphone mode, and since iOS 13.3.1 I haven’t had a single complaint.
I too have the iOS 13.3.3 and person on other end has terrible feedback. Very irritating when have to use ear as can hear much better with speaker (but people on other end can’t) This has to be fixed somehow... Apple must
know this is a problem as there are a lot of complaints from unhappy owners!
OK, I’ll put it another way:
When I called my iPhone 11 Pro Max from my landline and put my iPhone 11 Pro Max into speakerphone mode, in iOS 13.3, there was horrible echo, it was unusable.
Since iOS 13.3.1 was released, there has been none, it works as it has on all previous iPhones. No echo whatsoever in my landline earpiece when talking.
This has also been the experience of most of the others on this thread who used to have this issue.
If it were a hardware defect, no one’s phone would work in speakerphone mode, but most do.
I think part of the problem is that we’re balancing the bottom of the phone with our finger and it’s covering the speakers. I don’t know. That’s the only thing I can think of. But this issue has not been resolved for me. For the price of this phone, it should work pretty flawlessly.
I don't have a case on my phone. My phone is a week old. This is so hard for Face Time and all other application. This is clearly a speaker issue. Very one I am on the phone with mentions it. I have 11 pro.

I think the key is having that bottom front part completely open..
Although it may be an inconvenience it should help if earphones are used. Any type should do even a bluetooth headset. The bluetooth will give a slight time lag in the receive to send signal and possibly eliminate the echo. It is a software problem in that there is no lagtime in the signals and that produces the echo because the microphone is picking up the speakers in realtime. The case, if you use one, 'increases' the sound of the speakers by bouncing it back toward the microphones. Does this happen with wireless earbuds?

I bought iPhone 11 Pro Max, spouse bought iPhone 11 and have 2 family members with new iPhone 11. This problem exists with all these phones. Doesn’t matter who I’m talking to or what phone they have.
I just bought 4 new iPhone 11’s and my mom is having the same issue. She has to use speaker phone. She is very frustrated as her 6 Plus worked fine.
This was fixed for me w/ the recent software update.
