Catalina bluetooth problem

After upgrading my Macbook Air to Catalina, I started having problems with my bluetooth headphones. It keeps disconnecting from the computer although the bluetooth sign shows it connected. Each time I have to restart my headphones but it doesn't last long and disconnects again. It's become pretty annoying.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Catalina Bluetooth Issues I just updated my 2017 Macbook Pro to OSX Catalina and bluetooth headphones will no longer connect. It attempts to connect, status changes connected for 10ish seconds, then drops. Things I've tried: Remove all bluetooth devices Reset the bluetooth module Delete the bluetooth plist SMC Reset Reset NVRAM/PRAM Restarting Connecting bluetooth with wifi disconnected Tried another set of headphones Have you heard of this problem and do you know of any other potential fixes?

Macbook Bluetooth audio problem I have a 2017 Macbook Pro currently running MacOS Catalina version 10.15.3 It used to be working OK with my Samsung sound bar M360 and my Bose wireless headset, I think probably since i upgraded to Catalina the problem started. On Bluetooth it can connect to those devices, however in the sound preference, those devices are neither not able to be selected or even not there on the list for audio. I contacted Apple support, and tried several ways that they've suggested like resetting the PRAM/NVRAM, and many other ways, I worked for sometimes then not working again. I even did a fresh install on the MacOS (that was terrible as i have TBs of photos in external drive which took me weeks to re-index), but it worked for a couple weeks and the problem comes back. One thing that I notice is that when i boot my Macbook Pro as Safe Mode, the bluetooth audio works, but when restarted it back to normal mode, it doesn't Any help would be highly appreciated!

I have the answer! Spoke to Apple... you have to reset NV Ram. Restart, as it boots up hold OPTION + COMMAND + P + R for 20 seconds. Still does not work!

I'm still having the problem with Catalina 10.15.2, unfortunately.
