iOS 13.2 WHATSAPP push notifications problem

I'm also encountering the same issue for most apps (Whatsapp, Instagram, emails). Tried all reset and re-installing apps to no avail. Background refresh app and notifications settings are all turned on. Any advice on this? Really appreciate it.

I don’t have a problem with insta or email only WhatsApp.

Has anyone spoken to a human in Apple ?

Cant believe there has been no acknowledgement from this company.

I can live with it a bit longer if I knew they were actively looking at a patch to resolve

I have iOS 13.4.1 / iphone 7Plus. I am experienced Whatsapp notification problems. I have follow the recommendations described in this thread but the issue is not being solved. Any official answer from Apple will be highly appreciated.

i have the exact same issue. i really don’t know why Apple can’t get things straight anymore. i’m currently running iOS 13.5 on a 11 Pro. it’s trash, because i use WhatsApp daily for my work and i keep missing important messages from my clientes. this needs to be fixed asap.

Same here, mi GF iPhone XS with IOS 13.4.1 just started to have the same problem. Tried everything and still doesn't work. NEED HELP, we use her phone to work on IG and WhatsApp with and ecommerce and we are really stucked. :(

I’ve tried that. However, I have issue with other applications too (Viber, Messenger and etc.) I don’t think it’s application based problem for me. Just waiting for new 13.5 update, Hoping it will fix this issue. Thanks tho :)

I have not tried it, because I feel like it should not work for me. I have problems with not only whatsapp, but viber, messenger, imessage and other apps too. After updating to ios 13.5 I once again restored phone from itunes and set it up as new, redownloaded everything again from appstore, however issue has not been fixed. This is getting so annoying I cant even answer calls, and message back on time. I dont understand whats wrong.

Why do people read this thread , moan their phone does not work, as why it don’t work ?

Please tell us the software of phone and app and what you have tried to do to fix it.

Like complaining to a doctor your foot hurts but forgetting to mention you dropped a rock on it - no point posting at all.

I have that problem on my iPhone SE and I’m gonna buy the iPhone 11. If I transfer all data from my old iPhone to the new one, do you know if the problem will be passed to the new phone too? Has anyone done that??

It's strange that the latest version of iOS till date doesn't support notifications for video calls on whatsapp.

I do receive notifications on audio calls and msgs for whatsapp but video call notifications is not working even after performing all the workarounds.

It works perfectly fine for me now. Very simple 3 minutes work, without any kind of backing up or restoring to/from iCloud.

And now I also know that is possible to have two WhatsApps on the same iPhone!

Thank you , thank you , thank you!!! Wife’s phone / WhatsApp had this problem for months. Tried every combination of setting, uninstalling, upgrading etc but nothing worked . Except this route of moving to WA4B and back again. Did the job. Brilliant!

Since i updated my IPHONE 11 pro max to iOS 14.0.1 i didn’t receive WHATSAPP push notifications. My device receives WHATSAPP message only when i open the app, if i don’t enter into WHATSAPP i don’t receive new messages. I checked all settings and everything is ok. Someone has this problem? How can i solve it?

I have the same problem. Updated to 13.2.3 and continues.
