I have an Apple TV 3 and I started watching See and it seamlessly repeated a scene without me touching anything and the subtitles subsequently went out of sync. I tried to watch For All Mankind and it did the same looping back and this time the audio went out of sync? I have the latest update on my box. Anyone experiencing similar? I’ve never had such things happening whilst streaming on any other service before?

Have you open a case at Apple Support. I did and they still have not send the info to the engineering. The issue happens with the Apple TV 3 RD generation ( silver remote) It works fine on a 4tg gen Apple TV. My turn around was to watch on the laptop using the tv.apple.com and casting to a Chromecast..... shameful for Apple. If you and others open a case in the support it will show as statistics ....

I have the same issue with both See and Morning Show.
It stopped when I turned the subtitle off. But I hade to restart the episode after that.
Turn the subtitles off. This has sorted out the issue on my 3rd gen Apple TV at my end👍
I opened a ticket and haven’t heard back from Apple support in weeks. Not sure I care anymore as Amazon’s Fire TV stick (received one for Christmas) has the Apple TV+ app and everything plays flawlessly on it. I even have access to all my Apple purchased movies. A much cheaper option for those of us with Gen 3’s who feel like we’re being forced to upgrade our Apple TV’s.
I noticed that when you choose English subs it works correctly. Anything else gets out of synch after a while. Also show 's duration is incorrect

Please open a case with Support . It sems that I was the only one who opened a case and as I live in Brazil they are not taking care of....
I did as well and this was the first time I said yes to sending data to Apple. I may try setting it back after a week of flawless streaming to see if it recreates the looping issue again.
I’ve heard that it only happens with older Apple TV units. And the work around it throwing it up from your iphone or ipad.
I’ve noticed that when fast forwarding on episode 1, the time left shows as 4:55:55, nearly 5 hours not the hour or so it should be, which may have something to with the problem? Perhaps with the buffer on the Apple TV perhaps?
