I have an Apple TV 3 and I started watching See and it seamlessly repeated a scene without me touching anything and the subtitles subsequently went out of sync. I tried to watch For All Mankind and it did the same looping back and this time the audio went out of sync? I have the latest update on my box. Anyone experiencing similar? I’ve never had such things happening whilst streaming on any other service before?

Well, I didn’t get the call I was expecting, but I may have stumbled upon a fix while prepping for the call. I did a ‘Reset All Settings’ and chose yes to allowing Apple to collect data (I had said no before) and it’s running smoothly now (no downgraded video, looping, or out of sync audio). I wonder if Apple corrects itself on the fly with collect data enabled. Anyways, give it a try and see if it fixes the issues at your end. Hope it helps.
I have the same problem using an Apple TV 3rd generation. Subtitles (I watch with original audio and Portuguese subtitles) remain synchronized with the audio track.
Apple support claims to be aware but no solution in sight
Happens on my AppleTV 3 as well, but it doesn’t happen when I’m watching on my phone (iPhone Xs). Maybe is Apple forcing us to buy a new Apple TV :/
The Morning Show and many others are looping and voice over lapping. I can’t get passed episode 8. AppleTV+ is new so lets hope Apple gets the bugs out soon. I really like The Morning Show.
